got a problem?
Organizational planning is always going to require problem solving and solution integration. In Wealthy Affiliate as in any business all efforts should be on solving problems.
I take the Murphy's Law approach to problem solution planning. If something has to go wrong it will go wrong at the worst possible time in the the worst possible way. That can be added to by postulating the most complicated and work intensive solution!
You can find any process or operation and postulate or find a problem that will go with it. There's no saddle that can't fit a burr inside. So much so that some industrial parks have access toads named problem through way with feeder roads labeled solution(s) avenue.
As the diagram suggests an effective approach looks at the conundrum from a cause and effect approach. This is the approach to determining the action intersection point of the root cause of the issue. You can have a solution process which is quantitative based or best guess qualitative based relying on experienced subjective guess work.
The traditional 6 W's, why, what, who, which, when, where and the appending of how are then derived. They are then overlaid on the problem solution matrix and applied to the composite sub component of the problem process as a whole
The scheme shows a funnel which the process has to thread. This operation is not unlike the marketing funnel process by which customers and human assets are detected and evaluated. The funneling process uses evaluations using checklists and a choosing evolution.
What is your approach to using W and other assists to problems in Wealthy Affiliate? Much of the work here is run through website construction to help solve issues. There are choke points in the website and in the specific problems they focus on. You can construct a similar decision model to address your own issues.
It is hoped that we can make WA a problem/solution based concern of the first order!

Mike, this took me back to when Toyota opened in Derby, I did a stint on security there when we first came back.

Thanks for this Michael. I never thought of taking such an analytical approach to problem solving before. As mothers, we fly by the seat of our pants. But your approach of writing things down for business decisions sounds very practical. Another great post!

It's always nice to read your helpful post.

Good Morning Mike,
Good old Murphy reminds me of the times where I used to play golf.
Take your umbrella and it will not rain, well, most of the times.
Like preventive medicine, you take care of your health so you do not reach the stage of having to take pills.
Just as in real life keep your things up to date here at WA, it helps to avoid major disasters

I can think of worse places to sink a birdie than the pleasant waves of coastal Mediterranean Spain Taetske.

Hi, Michael.
Thank you for your continued influx of very useful information here on the platform.
An issue that I have is that many of the graphics including the one in your post above, I cannot decipher clearly.
I see this as a problem with many posts that express graphics that are no clear and easily read.
Keep up the great work though.
Paul.
