LOL! Just love those fury little things and with you sharing this post, it makes it so much easier to understand them :)
I love cats.....with a side of fries. Just kidding. I have seen these in, "Smudge," Sunshine's cat.
Thanks, Michael.
No wonder the Ancient Egyptians virtually deified cats…… So enigmatic and aloof at times, yet so lovable!
I recall spending virtually a whole day in the Egyptian room at the British Museum in London surveying all the mummified cat bodies.
No doubt about it,I am a serial cat-worshipper!
Thanks Mike!
Arthur
Arthur it is speculated the Sphynx was originally a lion, always a symbol of royalty set to guard the gates of Egypt. It faces east toward the invasion route From Asia. A pharaoh memorialized himself by having his image subsequently cut into it. The image is much smaller than the base suggesting the image was reduced.
Can you imagine if representatives from PETCO could go to ancient Egypt where they worshipped the cat and the dog. They would make a killing.
I love that, can you send me the link to that pic please :-) you are awesome as always :-)) xoxo
