Basic Computation Changes
There are major changes on the computer processing horizon The traditional system of on/off, 0 /1 discrete computing is headed to oblivion.
Concepts more and more are moving to a continuous rather than a discrete spectrum. It's no longer black or white but a "shades of grey" concept.
IBM began a landmark in computing Friday. They announced a quantum computer that handles 50 quantum bits, (qubits.) The company is also creating a 20-qubit system accessed through a cloud computing platform.
The specific computational method is not published yet. We don't want another Cyberdyne of Terminator 2 fame. (probably classified) but makes use of two phenomena called entanglement and superposition to revise information processing.
This is more convoluted than 0 and 1 bit binary and is what is required to design layers of oversight required in Artificial Intelligence (AI).
