The disheartening part of your above quote is the younger generation has NO CLUE about our history - our background of hard work and responsibility - it is "scary" they don't learn it -if at all - until long after they get out in the real world and get "slapped" by the reality of competition and measuring "success" being the real world - n participation trophies for everyone out here.
