I'm 6 on Yahoo
So, I'm in sixth place in Yahoo, with my latest post keyword. I don't know much about Yahoo, so I'm going to do some research. I feel pretty good about being sixth, even if it is on Yahoo.
At first I couldn't figure out how I was going to monetize my site. I added links from Amazon, books & DVDs in my niche, and then I started looking for anything there might be out there, that's an actual product - not that books & DVDs aren't - something in a bottle, like perfume or cologne. And I found just such a product! I won't offer anything more here, but I'm glad I cottoned on to this idea because I had been agonizing for a while about monetizing my site, and here was one solution, anyway. Slowly, one step at a time, I seem to be heading for the winner's tape, though it's still quite a way off.

Congrats on ranking in Yahoo. Though Google is the big boy, lots of people still use Yahoo, so that's great. Also great that you have another product - just make sure it doesn't stray too far from your original niche focus. And maybe look at other sources than Amazon - their one day cookie is pretty tough on affiliates.
