My story of Google ranking and backlinks

I am sorry to said that his article doesn't give you anything, it was just a repeat of the lessons from Kyle. I believe if you want to post an article to say something, it should give people something to take away, like benefit, new idea or give them something to think about.
Here is my story:-
Back in end of 2014, one of my website http://learnaffiliatemarketingonline.org "learn affiliate marketing online" was ranking in Google at around position 22 - 24 for few months and I have keep posting new articles, I did everything I learned in WA, but the ranking didn't change.
I am sort of disheartened. One day I spotted a post on Facebook, there was this guy - he said he do SEO and said he can help website get better ranking.
I decided to have a little bit of fun, I am a child at heart, so I contacted him and ask him if what he said was true. He told me what his fee will be. I thought it was quite reasonable, so I went along with him. I gave him my website url, and my keyword "learn affiliate marketing".
I sent him some money and he sent me a few reports. I didn't even look at his report at all, so I didn't even know what he did. I was busy doing other more interesting things, and I didn't even care.
After that I have not post anything on my website and haven't even log in the website for over 5 months.
One day, I went and checked the ranking of this website. To my surprise, it ranks on Google at 8th position. (Go and check it yourself, I am not lying.) All the other page-one sites are high authority sites when I look at them. Geez, wow!
So what does it tells me?
It tells me that it was all his effort, since I had done nothing. So I decide to look into it and find out what he did. I look at the reports he sent me.
He gave me a listing of over 400 website addresses and most of them are directory listing websites. Directory listing websites are websites where you can enter your web address, keywords and category of your website, e.g. ASR, Reddit and business finder, etc.
Interesting backlink story, isn't it?

But you speak about site ranking all the time. That is why I asked. You even give keyword which is in your site title. So please reedit the blog, it is confusing.
There is site ranking as such, but it is not worth mentioning. Jovo
Very interesting blog post about backlinks, Mister Wailor. ;)) If for a small amount of money in exchange for yr time-consuming effort to build yr website, I think it is worth. ;))
But I think you have to make sure these directory listing websites are not those link farm directories as mentioned on this site, or else yr site maybe blacklisted :-

I found him on Facebook and he don't have a website. I paid the money to learn a lesson. Now I know how he did it and my money well spent.
Consider yourself quite fortunate, there are so many fakes out there or ones who use blackhat tactics resulting in you getting penalized.....see? I told you that you are a special type of person!

I have been meaning to get the community's opinion about this. Recently I have had a few comments from different people offering to help get my site in the top ranking spots on google. I wasnt sure if the comments were spam or legit. They too were asking for a fee.
Mine is a bit different. I approached him, and his fees are very reasonable. If you want some information, just PM me.
