There's always something that I'd like to change in the design or the wordpress themes I use, How about you?
The widget width, the font colors or sizes there's always something - And there's always a little disappointment when I look into the WP settings and there's no "easy" button to press or drop down box to make a change from.

What we find is a box that allows us to alter the CSS
And it's round about then that I start to scratch my head!
When it comes to tweaking my wordpress CSS I tremble - but to be honest It's a fear that I think I just may overcome soon...
My own personal learning style is quite pragmatic or hands on and I found a cool interactive lesson guide that's "gratis/free"
I can see that it's something that I can do, and if this scarycat can do it, you can do it if I can do it too!

I found a whole bunch of places online with FREE training in HTML, CSS, PHP, MySQL Database & Programming for it, Java, Javascript, etc. Of course! I bookmarked all the best. I know some HTML already & have changed or added some stuff through the editor. But having a project management/software developer/IT consulting background anyway makes me somewhat 'fearless' at changing code because I can sort of figure some of it out already. However, I would still like to take structured learning as well--it helps me focus. Then its hands-on training time.
You'll do well at learning the free courses on programming. That will help a lot to understand what happens in the background. So if you get a funky Theme that doesn't do what you want it to, you can just go in & fix it. You could even rename the Theme & submit it to WordPress so others can use it too. Keep up the good work! Beware of PM's when I'm in CSS hot water - I don't know how long it's gonna take for me to become fearless! :o)
I enjoy a bit of software engineering background and I've contemplated the stack required with WordPress, further what other ramifications these skill may mean to my skill stack. Definitely, a required skill set Html, Xhtml, Css, and PHP including MySQL to become familiar with inorder to avoid having to hire programmer/software engineer type each time you would like to tweak your site, make some modifications, etc.. But, I'm hoping to get away from programming, software engineering, and focus on Affiliate Marketer. We'll see how much techie I have to maintain.

developers can leverage regularly $80k to $135k+ annually
depending up locations and size of clients. Especially if you
throw in a little Oracle Database. But your rank tells me
