Why I joined WA.

I joined WA because I felt very lost.

In Febrary 2020, I started another affiliate program by someone who was charging 2k for it. I was promised that I could start making money by the program within a week but it was a flat out lie. It was drip-fed program that I couldn't even get full access to. I borrowed $625 dollars from a good friend who believed in my vision to start the program and I had the pressure on me to make the $625 per month to pay the full $2,000 it cost.

Instead, I made nothing within the first 3 weeks.

I was on my own for the whole time that I did it. I had full-on access to the mentor but I had very little daily support and I was constantly frustrated. I hit so many roadblocks that it has really killed my self-confidence.

Everyday, I spent 4 hours trying to create my product, my website, and creating all the graphic design content from scratch... all while having very few resources and no other people to contact.

Putting in all my work without any reward made me feel like I couldn't succeed.

I stressed myself out everyday, until the point where I ended up sick and totally burnt out. It took a lot out of me physically and I'm still recovering.

Honestly, I still lack confidence in my ability to do this because I'm a beginner that was left in a ocean.... trying to swim a tide by myself. I have *always* worked better when I was collaborating with others and while I had help! I used to love team projects in school because of this.

We *all* benefit from helping one another.

Long story short, I was able to pull out of the program and I'm *hoping* I get my refund of $625 back from them so I can pay back my amazing best friend who took a big leap of faith on me.

And the lasting scar of feeling incompetent and knowing I was swindled into a pyramind scheme... has truly left a damper on me.

Strangely enough, letting this frustration out in this blog is actually helping me to see that it wasn't *me* that was the problem with the program.

It was that the program truly did not fit me, my pace, and my needs as a beginning affiliate marketer.

During a moment of frustration is when I realized that it wasn't for me. My awesome friend saw how discouraged I was and he found WA and joined here with me!

So now we are both on this journey together and I'm very very excited to get back and learn from this wonderful community. In just a week of being here, I've been showered with so much encouragement and support. I feel like I can really do this again and I have the faith that this is the best (and affordable!) platform for me.

Thank you WA family for welcoming me in! Time to create content so I can see you guys at the 2021 WA Las Vegas trip and reach my goals!!

I think you are amazing for pushing forward and coming at it from a new direction! That definitely sounds like a hard beginning:(

But I'm so glad you've found WA! That's awesome your friend has joined with you.

I'm sure you'll find a lot more support, encouragement and success here!
Best of luck!
Heidi

Hi Mintcrea,
I am sorry you went through literally a scam.

I been with WA for a couple of months and I like it so far, Kyle is very good at all his tutorial videos and the community is very helpful any time of the day.

Good luck on your journey.

Well Congratulations on persisting and finding WA! I've only been here about a week also and everyone is great here! Group collaborations always work better in my opinion! I know I work better in a group when taking on new projects like this marketing!! Keep in touch and have an Awesome Day!!!

Hi Amanda:

Your story is one that's so common online. So many members here had a similar experience. My coach in a previously program kept insisting that I make Youtube videos like him, when I didn't even have the slightest knowledge on how to make money online.

Thank God we've all been "rescued" by WA.

Wishing you the very best on your new journey!

From what I've seen most affiliate programs don't charge you to join...WA does b/c it teaches you about the business and how to do it....

But most affiliates do not ask for fees.....requirements, sure....like some want you to already to have a website or following etc. But that you can work towards

This community is the place to be......and no upsells!!

It was a mentorship program, unfortunately.
