I won't be using the membership. I haven't used the website that much.
I would like a refund for a service that I canceled.

It doesn't matter how much you do or not use it, you paid for the privilege of "being able to use it". Exactly like a phone bill, you cannot request a refund at the end of the month just because you didn't call anybody... That's not how businesses work. You pay for the ability to use the service, and you cancel ahead of time if you decide you no longer want it.

I guess I haven't explained myself very well... I thought I did.
I HAVE canceled my subscription to this platform less than a month ago because I DON't use and I knew I would have not used it for the following months. IT IS UNCLEAR why I have been charged for the current month. Since I have canceled the subscription using the dedicated section of my account settings.

In that instance, you can request a refund by contacting Kyle or Carson (the owners) directly via private message. Other members can't refund your account for you.

I have opened a ticket here because I thought there was dedicated customer service. I have sent an email to Kyle. No answer yet.

Why do we have a "cancel your subscription" section on this platform then? "Exceptional reasons"? I hope you are joking. Anywhere in Europe... you are entitled to a refund if you don't use a service. Visit my profile and you will understand that I didn't use my profile so much. I didn't even develop a website on WA but most importantly I cancelled my subscription less than a month ago. Are you part of the customer support?

Please note the terms and conditions of this platform, which you agreed to when submitting your payment details. This is quite clear from a legal point of view.

"Subscription to Wealthy Affiliate Premium and Paid Services are billed in advance on a monthly or yearly basis (as per the option you have chosen when you purchased Services) and are non-refundable for the subscription period they are purchased for."

As you paid by PayPal, then an automatic subscription will be set up in your account. WA can't access this, it is your responsibility to cancel it.

As I said, only Kyle has the authority to pay refunds. As he receives thousands of messages every day, it may be a while before you hear the result of your request.

Hi - I answered your question elsewhere. It is your responsibility to cancel your PayPal subscription. Site Support do not deal with this type of question, only problems with hosting. You would need to contact Kyle if you think you have exceptional reasons for a refund.
