6 months in WA and have done my 100th post. I would like some feedback at this milestone please. Please test my new rating plugin at top of post as well.
The post is here
I'm not a good judge with websites as I am a newbie. When I have my peep on your site, I was astonished at what I've seen. It's fantastic. How did you do it. You've done a great job. Me, too, I will do my best to create one like yours. Inspires me.
The site looks fabulous to me and seems very professional. It is very important that websites dealing with our health or our money have high levels of accuracy, authority and confidence and I think that it is fully accomplished. With respect to the 100th post, comes well to my because right now I am going through a slump.
Checked your site, its Fantastic. Great layout, like the share and Like buttons to. If you have time Please check my site
Thanks Mike.

Support is great:) I know how it feels when you wreck your website badly, done it several times
For next time:) Using malicious scripts can wreck your website, open a test site
I had to have Support restore my site it was down for 7 hrs. but they brought it back.
Marty
When you get it fixed you can use a child theme to add the code Add HTML Code to WordPress to Verify Your Website
Is this a plugin? - deactivate it.
Is this HTML code you typed into the editor ? - delete the code.
Help me understand what you did, exactly.
i put code in header.php but it didnt work and website wont load
not plugin
deleted code carefully to no avail
Ouch! For future ref. Open two browsers with the Editor open to the same file. Make a copy of the all the contents, just in case. That way if the one breaks it. You're still connected and can paste it all back in there and SAVE. It will overwrite the bad stuff and put everything back into play.
Listen to PJ, as this is the easiest solution.
Just fyi: a DIY option is to open the theme's zip file on your own computer, find the header.php file, and then FTP the header.php file into the proper folder on your site.
But I imagine you would be more comfortable with the support solution.
:) It will all work out.

I not all that happy with yoast and decided to go back to allinone SEO.
However none of my posts have ANY SEO listed now.
No SEO title description or kewords!!!!!</
Titles and descriptions are not transferred between plugins. How would all in one SEO know about manual descriptions that you created.
I never recommend manually creating these for your page/posts other than your home page details. Besides that, you should just let the plugin do the work for you.
It happens to the best of us. Stay on All in One SEO moving forward, it is all you need and I wouldn't give it any more thought. Your time is much better spent on things like creating content and building your actual business.

I have 3 websites i tried to login today
major problems with plugins --- working on a solution now and as far as i know these websites have not upgraded to new beta wordp
I agree. I had jetpack for a few days and it caused nothing but problems. Once I deactivated and deleted the plugin, everything went back to normal.
Get rid of Jetpack. I have heard so many stories of problems with that plugin because it doesn't play nicely with other plugins and it can slow down your site's loading speed.
Support should be able to help you get into your sites https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/websites/support
Another alternative is to use FTP and delete the Jetpack plugin files.

I know yoast has a lot of great features, esp for suggesting things before you post, but since installing over prev it seems traffic has dropped. Yoast only allows one keyword
Yes, I tried it and went right back to the all in one. Yoast gives great tips but I can't get all green with the free version. All in one has gotten me to #1 with one post. Close on a couple others. I have only been at it a month. Do Well Robert
Hi my friend
You can add more than one keyword using the free yoast
In your yoast admin area titles and metas there is a check box you need to enable ... says "I don't know why you'd want to use meta keywords, but if you want to, check this box."
Then in your yoast screen under your focus keyword you can add as many other keywords as you like
J
You may have every good reason to add more than 1 keyword. But I found it really funny that the box you check to add meta keywords says what it does, in relation to your question. I needed a laugh too. Best of wishes. Geoff
Is this still relevant today? I do not see anywhere where I can enter more than 1 keyprhase in yoast.
I had just switched over from AllInOne SEO but now ... am worried that yoast only optimises for one keyword per article unless I upgrade.
I switched to Yoast on one of my sites a few days ago and am considering switching back to All Iin One SEO.
Yes it is nice to have the green light suggestions but I feel I am giving up a lot to get suggestions about things I should know to do anyway. Besides, I don't even agree with some of them. I think the suggested keyword density is too high for example. Boomergp08 made some great points about that yesterday. Latent Semantic Indexing and Keywords for Higher SEO I also miss having my site map send to Google and Bing automatically, having a single switch to block referral spam and other features I was happy with in All in One.
I'll give Yoast a couple more days but I am underwhelmed at this point.
Tom
thx i think you right EXACTLY
the suggestions are for newbies
great tool for newbies
thats why i switched
Both plugins do exactly the same thing just in differing ways. Yoast also offers sitemap submissions. You need to set it up in the xml sitemaps tab in your yoast settings section
I don't disagree Jason. They do both do the same thing. It is a matter of individual preference.
Since I switched over to Yoast though, I have had the error in Search Console that says the sitemap is HTML. I had to submit them manually to fix it.
That is one thing you might want to check Eddie. See if your sitemap has errors when you check it on Search Console. I don't think it would explain your dropping traffic in that short a time but it wont help you in the long term.
Tom
You can put a long tailed keyword just the same - for example best quality audio system or best or best quality
Also after I am with Yoast my traffic Increased for a bit but all this week has been dropping every day and yesterday was only 30 views
So I am wondering what has happened
I just started using Yoast today, so I am no help yet, but would love to see what others think.
