Canonical URL's
This might be of interest to those posting the same material several times in their blog, or indeed on different blogs
I have 3 closely related blogs and often the same material is applicable to all so I experimented with canonical URL setting in Yoast. This useful if the material is near identical but you want the search engines to "see" only one copy.
I think thats right
Anyway here is how i set it up
Here is SEO image / advanced settings YOAST.
This is page with the most traffic so I want to keep this as original.
I will leave this window EXACTLY how it is.
However in the 2 copies I will insert the URL for THIS PAGE in that same box on the other posts.
Does that make sense?? Update me if I am wrong.
I am learning here

I struggled with this before. I am not using Yoast but I will ask my SEO guys if I should switch. Thanks for this info.
Yeap, setting up a canonical URL on page B tells Google to consider page A (the one which address was set on page B) as the original content.
This will avoid duplicate content issues and will give all authority page B might gain onto page A.
