22,483 E-mails
Can you imagine 22,483 e-mails in my inbox. I know I don't know that many people, at least I didn't think so until it occurred to me... Copy n paste is so easy with my lil pen, I use with my phone. I found myself crossing paths with 312 groups in a 3-hour period one night. Hum, I did more pasting than copying My accumulation, of the outrageous amount of e-mails has come from 3 major sources, I figured it out.
First, I have discovered what a pain in the butt spamming can be. I mean to say, there are some happy lil e-mailers out there that need another focus. What I mean is when I place my links for an entry to a site, I don't attach a sign that's reads "Send E-mails all day" I am gettin3-5 per website per day. I may not be "e-mail ready" just yet, but when I do get to that point I'll be damned if I'll waste money on bugging an individual to the point of...UNSUBSCRIBE ME FROM YOUR LIST. Daddy says, " Give a Man a fight chance Lisa", so I have a RULE...THIRD TIME IS A CHARM. If I UNSUBSCRIBE 2 times, that 3rd warning is delivered by my e-mail, and 'I'll leave that right there. Excessive e mailers are just as annoying as telemarketers calling all day wanting to sell me health insurance, that I never asked for and I am good in the health insurance department. Don't even get me started on those that want me to go "back to school" until I tell them my age and how much I "skipped" when I had the opportunity to go to school. My mama gets a kick outta that one. lol I don't even talk to her that many times a day.
Then, I believe they are buying and selling email list to each other, because there are e-mails I wouldn't dream of hooking up with. Just cause I am a woman that mean I want to see a bunch of shoes? and jewelry? Well, jewelry chocks me and I like MY BOOTS. Now send me a catalog of new saddles and Outback winter wear and I'll stop for 10 minutes to look, but have plenty. Come to think of it, this is Not the type of marketer I want to be, "A Pain in the Butt". I do just fine being a pain without e-mailing, all by myself. Another thing, wouldn't that wasted money and time be better spent on another income activity? Such as, another product to sell, say a HIGH-TICKET product? I understand that the average millionaire has 5-7-15 incomes at the same time. Also, can't dig that many paychecks. Also, can't wait to wake up and see what I made while I was asleep or reap the dividends 5-10 years from now while I motor boating down in the Keys with Jimmy Buffett.
Third, if y'all are getting to know my you would know about "MY Lil Blessing" and the transition I am making from working from my phone to my laptop. This has become another negotiating relationship like WordPress. It's slow. So my laptop has an appointment with laptop doctor the "Geek Squad" yes and I know my son used it for a year. My son has always been found in places he shouldn't be. Yes, still true to this day, at 30 yr old. There no telling where this lil blessing has traveled. Around the world once I am sure lol.
So while I was using phone to check e-mail, it apparently didn't show ALL the e-mails. Therefore, they have accumulated over a period of time. What am I to do? I am not sure that Also, can't do ONE of the SAME thing ALL DAY long. I must plan a defense strategy, for my battle attack. I delete 10 and 25 come in. I am gonna need a bigger weapon. I am bound to come up with some creative, unconditional idea. lol
One more thing before I go. I hope "My Role Model" is reading this. The laptop wouldn't keep up with me today, I got a lil frustrated. So I haul off and whooped it a lil and discovered...it is a touch screen too lol.
Just think, Also, can't read this a year from now and see how far I've come in a short period because I am doing TWICE the Work in HALF the Time. YEE HAW!

I agree I find myself in a delima, I come up with something. Yes I been unsubscribing, but its not working on their end UNTIL I send an email back I recon the phone doesn't show all because Simone I'm seeing twice as much as phone. I do need a set of spurs to help it along. I have the need for speed. I'm using both hands now lol.

I have an old email with Yahoo, I haven't used it for many years. Guess what? I used it when I sold the "Phony Pony" horse tire swing and was raking in $4,000 each month. What I found surprised me. Yahoo has an affiliate program. I have a link to share if YOU want to use it.

Yes, I get a lot of junk mail also. DELETE! DELETE! DELETE!
But it can be a big time-waster. I check my emails in the morning now, but it is taking an hour. I might go back to checking them in the afternoon, so I can keep my mornings more productive.

I scheduled mine twice a day. I was using my phone but got a lil laptop and can see twice as much. I had No idea they were to that extreme.
That's what I was thinking, and my normal on the phone is delete 1700 a day not including spam folder. but laptop shows twice as much
I have an email address that has about 30K on it--I don't get over there often enough to clear it right now, Lisa! I feel your pain!

Just a thought on clearing emails ... you probably know this already ...
Does your email system enable search, and multiple deletes the way Gmail does?
If it does ,,,
1. Identify an email address that you want to get rid of.
2, Unsubscribe.
3, Search for all the emails from that address.
4. Delete them all at once.
Sorry if this is telling you what you already know.
If not, then I hope it's useful.

No Richard, I had no idea. I'm new at all this and probably started to late at 55, but I don't care as long as I enjoy something , I'll stick with it. Thank you so much for the directions. I'll do this in morning, as I'm trying to use a schedule. Never remember having one except feeding the animals twice a day and showing up for school. I will let you know how it turns out because I'm following you now, if you don't mind.
I'm so excited to delete now and thought I cleared them all at once today. Come to find out, I had emptied the Trash lol.
