My Sick "Lil Tea Cup"
Such a sad lil face, such dark lil eyes, and that hair. Lol My "Lil Tea Cup" is badly sick. Due to Covid ( which she is negative for) they chosen not to put a one year old in the hospital.
Since this past Tuesday, MY "Lil Tea Cup" went sick. Starting to dehydrate, her mama, my daughter took baby Leona to doctor. She left doctors with a 103 temperature, no explanation for sickness but negative for covid. I got her mama, Lucy , my daughter to run her to Emergency room in another town in bigger city. There, they immediately put her in a room and started test. Another covid, no doubt, those test have a tendency to be wrong in some places. After 5 hours, at least we have an explanation. I can't pronounce it nor can I spell it. High fever and should last 3/4 days at most. As far as we know, she is on her 5th day as of today, Sunday.
Lots of crying, fever, no appetite, not even thirsty. Not on my watch, you must know I had 23 Holstein baby calves on bottle when I was a senior in high school. I can give you mouth to mouth with a tire pump if I had to. I was raised by 2 RN's and a farmer, 2 milk farms and 2 years of nursing school myself, not to mention raised 3 my own and they are alive and thriving lol. My "Lil Tea Cup", the 5 year old boy and me will survive this. God willing and the creek don't rise, we are expected 5 inches by Monday.
One thing I forgot about, when I took on this job, my patience. Whining, crying, screaming, no sleep just somehow slipped my mind. Oh, and by the way, my help deserted me the first day. Her mama called to duty in Army til whenever, and the other daughter left town, the dad has to work in the rain and grandpa, well he never seems to be found lol.
No problem, nothing a prayer and and a zanex won't fix. If I can raise the hardest cow to raise, a milking Holstein baby calf, then we all will come out the other side a better man for it. Another notch under my belt, so to speak.
In conclusion, it ain't over til the fat lady sings...and I have yet to tune up and cut a rug. I hope y'all can comprehend metaphors lol. Take care, until we speak again, yall come back now, ya hear.?

You so right Richard, she's feeling better today and didn't have go back to doctor.
I read again and missed "they" but "they" usually, from my neck of woods, means they majority lol.
