Importance Of My Taking Notes, Saving Things,
And Helping Others Here On WA
I knew when I started WA, there was going to be a lot of information to take in, or as some might say an Overwhelming amount of Information. Due to memory problems from an accident many years ago plus just getting old, I am slow remembering many things. I never know what I will remember quick or what just does not want to stick.
So From the start, I have written many notes plus I have a folder on my DeskTop marked Special for WA to keep Bookmarks of various Lessons, Tutorials, and Emails with routes to Webinars that I have watched but like having access to Replays. I have the Affiliate for every Lesson that I have gone through saved. I save Affiliates for Tutorials I like or think may be useful.
Some may say I try to help people here on WA because I want higher Rank. Not true. Sure higher rank is nice, but that is just an extra bonus. Ha Ha! If I can help others including my wife be as Successful as possible, then I will feel maybe I have learned enough to have better chances of making a Successful Website myself! I try to help people as best as I can because I just naturally like helping people until give reason for otherwise, and many people do not realize how many Tips you can pick up on, and take notes on of course, when helping others. Someone may give a suggestion that may help myself with an issue that has nothing to do with the question at hand, or when Searching for answers, I learn more things. It is nice how all things can tie together in some form or fashion so that in the end, hopefully, create the best outcome Possible.
Okay, enough preaching. I just want any of my followers or even Non followers to know that when I help it is because I want to. Not for any other ulterior motive aside from liking to help, plus possibly pick up on more Tips myself trying help find the answer needed to answer the question or questions. When I was in school, I was lucky. I never had to take notes or study, but life has a way of throwing Curveballs sometimes, therefore, now I have short term memory issues that are a pain. Either way, even for the Geniuses here on WA, there is a lot of information here, and new ideas coming in all the Time. I would recommend everyone find whatever way is the easiest for them to take notes or save information so that it easy and quicker for them to look back on notes rather than having to watch lessons over and over trying to find that one answer you know is there, but just can't quite remember where, not sure if you remember correctly, or just want to be 100% before you tell someone else. I Just wanted to share why it is the Important to me to Take Notes, Save Things, and Help others!

This is great tip and thanks very much for the wonderful reminder. I think I am not that organized and so this is good for me, especially I have not finished the Affiliate bootcamp training yet, lol. ;)
I wish I was as organised as you. Never get round to saving most of the stiff I see here - although a lot is very useful.
IMc, I can't always say that it is because I am organized. When it becomes a necessity often enough, it becomes a habit rather than being organized. Trust me, if it was not a habit due to necessity, I would probably skip it many times just to save time Even if I knew I would regret not saving it later on. But hey, I save some for you, you save some for me, we can all get answers we need somehow!

So true. Much like trying to find things on Microsoft. You only find what you want when looking for something else later. And then you have to wait until later to find what you are looking for now! I used to keep a Helen' Helpful Hints when I was working. Now I have a WA file on word that I keep open while doing courses. Even then it is very easy to miss things.
Helen, Thanks for the comment. Indeed, even when trying to take notes etc., it is so easy to miss things. Especially with the overwhelming amount of information here on WA!

Michael, I told you some time ago I was experimenting with Paint to make composite pictures to import to Media. Well that works except the font is different to the words typed in Word Press. Is there a means of finding out the font in Word Press. Also I remembered at the last minute that the keywords won't be picked up in a photo so I do type in text to allow the system to read the keywords. Will be posting the result as soon as I can get the font to look similar. Helen
Helen, Not sure 100% sure I understand Question. Now if I am understanding things correctly, I have Uploaded Images/photos separate from the writing below or otherwise, and then added text in color and Font that I wanted. Have you tried Highlighting the text that is with your Media and change Font? Just Thought. Trying to fully understand. I want to help!

I have posted it. If you look at the top text ie that typed in wordpress, it is different from that in the bottom section where the text was typed onto a paint worksheet between the three amalgamated photos. I couldn't find one type of font common to both Paint and Wordpress. I am going to suggest to wordpress that they expand their font numbers to include some common (with Microsoft and Paint), easy to read fonts. Then if anyone, including me, wants to 'fiddle' around to produce just what they want then the post looks consistant. I just need to figure out how to contact them!
Helen, I apologize for being late, but I am afraid I am not sure where you have posted the Link. Now I will try to find something I saw once where a person said that they went into editor/edit, tools, or something and managed to change Font Size 1/2 a size. 1 point instead of the standard 2 They manage to go from 12 to 13 instead of the 12 - 14 that is shown in Font Settings. If I figure it out, I will let you know. My memory is pitiful so I will have to try and find the answer I know is out there. I will let you know as soon as I know anything!

Helen, See if this is some of the area you want to adjust Font Size. Hope it helps some!
