Has anyone else had problems with their videos not having sound when adding them to your post?

I use youtube and embed. No problems

What videos are you using? YouTube? There could be a setting. I normally embed my videos using code from http://embedresponsively.com/ and I haven't had any issues. PM me if you want more info

I fixed it, it was just an audio codec issue. Thank you for this advice. I may start embedding them like you say for another site I have.

Using embed responsively is great for keeping your site mobile-friendly - Google likes that :P

You audience will tolerate some poor video but not poor sound. Use good mikes. A good mixer if using more than one sound source. I use Final Cut, Adobe Premier, and Casandra. When I am recording for YouTube I save to the iPod format. That give me the most compressed file. I've never had any problem.

Codecs are the curse of the devil. I once had a massively important presentation to give to a room full of my peers...approx 1500 of them. I had worked on my presentation for weeks...it was going to be the best thing since sliced bread. Got to the first video...and no sound.....ahhhhhhhh. Glad you got it sorted :)

Nevermind - I had a bad codec, it is fixed now. Thanks.

Yet to try.

Still to be encountered!

I have not added sound but would like to know. Thanks. J

Not there yet, but I'll let you know.
