Got Down On Myself - But The Website Is Taking a NEW Direction!

So, in the last little while, I haven't written any articles. The last one I wrote was probably 2.5 or so weeks ago. Initially, I was really butt-hurt and down on myself over this because I didn't feel like I was supplying quality information to anyone.

I felt like I was letting my pursuit of money control me - and the articles I was writing were all focused on helping people and not allowing myself to accept money coming in to me.

For anyone reading this, I blog about fitness. I am pretty new to the fitness world (1-2 years now) but have gained some valuable knowledge for people that want to lose weight and build up some muscle.

Am I an EXPERT in my Niche? Nope. Not Even Close.

But that doesn't deter me from writing. Over the past couple of weeks I got really down on myself because I thought that I Don't have much knowledge in terms of fitness advice and that people would just outright laugh at me and my website. So what if they do?

They will come, they will see it, lots will love it, some will hate it, many people will hate ME myself, people will come, people will go and people will never come back. It's all part of the game.

There are half a dozen other niches I could've been better at - but my ultimate goal in life is to inspire people to become the best versions of themselves by cultivating a happy and healthy mind and body connection through proper nutrition, weight lifting, exercise and a healthy mindset.

My mindset right now is unhealthy and it shows because I haven't written a darn thing over the pat 2.5 weeks.

I am letting myself get in my own way. It hurts.

What Will I Do Now Then?

I came across a gentleman talking about writing 'Best of [insert year]' product overviews of 10-20 products per page.

It is time for me to now focus on generating some revenue by providing people with unbiased, helpful content showing them how to choose various exercise equipment for their house or gym.

I can no longer just write just to write; I need a focus and monetary compensation for my efforts is now in the forefront my brain.

I have created so much free, helpful content that people could get shredded and lose as much weight as they want without ever buying a single product. It's time to sell things to people now.

Converting My Website.

I will be converting my website and changing up the menu structure into a product-driven review site with "How-To's" mixed in to the equation from time to time to keep Google, Bing and Yahoo off my arse and happy.

I just can't keep writing and writing and writing without generating revenue and this is how things have to go.

• There are THOUSANDS of products in the fitness niche
• People spend ENORMOUS amounts of money to get and stay fit
• Fitness is one of the most lucrative industries in existence
• It is closely related to technology (in terms of electronic gear one can buy) and I am a tech nerd through and through
• There is more opportunity than ever to genuinely help people make educated buying decisions

The MOST IMPORTANT Thing Remains!

Do NOT focus on generating money alone! Create buyer's guides that genuinely help people out!

I still want to help people and this is still at the forefront of my efforts, just with more of an emphasis towards content that will convert my readers into not only return-visitors, but buyers and ultimately return buyers!

It goes without saying that creating a website with the sole purpose of creating money is what we're all here for.

I sure as heck am.

But when you chase money so bad sometimes it gets easy to forego the helpfulness which genuinely leads towards the money.

This Blog Went on TOO Long.

Do you not think that there were moments when I wanted to throw in the towel and just start over with a new niche?

I still want to do this everyday but I force myself not to and just see where I can take this and truly realise the potential.

Don't give up. Sometimes you need a new business strategy, ultimately one that's centred around generating profits.

Everything else is a waste of time quite frankly.

If we wanted to create blogs just for the hell of it we could've done it without Wealthy Affiliate right?

Go make some cash. Shouldn't take you more than 6-12 months to make 5 thousand buckeroos per month.

Just do it.
