Hi everybody I am going to start to get an email list together, as I have been reading how well email marketing does. My question is which email program do you use to generate

I use Aweber to mail out emails.

But to "generate" the list, there's no system for that. Your website generates traffic, and you use that to get people to sign up to your list.

Hello,

Aweber is recommended !

Have a nice sunday !

Attila

Presently I'm doing the email marketing manually. However, I was advised to go for Aweber. I've checked it and see that if offers one month for free. So you can give it a try if you wish.
I'm also aware that some people like Sumome, I've tried it and don't like it.

WA Affiliate Program

Quick question, do you promote Wealthy Affiliate on yournsite with banners, etc even if affiliate marketing, etc is NOT your niche? And if you do, do you make conversions?

I promote Wealthy Affiliate so I have several articles on my site about them some of which have banners. About the conversion! That is to come.

Thanks for all the feedback, still on the fence of whether I should take down the banner or not. We shall see!

I have a niche website and a boot camp website.
So I use the boot camp to promote WA.

I do not. It's not relevant. I'd rather use that space to promote something relevant to my niche for higher click throughs and sales.

Not yet but l plan to do so

I also include a link to WA in my about me page.

I promote it several places that are not part of the affiliate marketing niche but when I do using a banner in a widget on the sidebar I always put a header above explaining why it is important. For Instance "Learn to Build a Website" or something similar.

I spend a lot of time and energy tracking what works and what doesn't. I have found that adding that one line when it is on the sidebar doubles the number of clicks and sign ups I get off the banner.

Hi Mike,

I pondered this too.

My niche is B2B sales management and sales effectiveness but not in affiliate marketing or really the online space at all. But it's somewhat relevant for sales people and management wanting to supplement their incomes.

I initially thought of writing a WA review and why I joined as a stand alone page with a low key link somewhere in the footer. The motive was to still promote WA and give it a shout out while maybe getting a conversation here and there but focussing on ranking, traffic and conversions for my target audience and products.

In the end though, I made it a regular blog post and gave it additional categories and tags like "opportunity" and "side hustle".

Unfortunately I can't confirm if it converts (yet) as its been up for a week, the site is not optimised for that sort of audience and I've no click throughs yet. That being said, the post gets hits so at some stage a % of them will convert, it will just be a far slower and a lower % than the site is chasing for the main focus. Which is fine.

Hope that helps somewhat.

Good luck!

Tim.

Whats up everybody, I recently did a speed test on my site and I wasn't too thrilled with it. Does anyone recommend a plug-in that will optimize a website on Wordpress that wil

Kyle wrote a blog about page speed.
He recommends a couple of plugins I for myself use one of them and it seems to help a bit.

But, there is also a change here at WA coming up soon where this issue will be "fixed" but read Kyle's post and you will see what he means. Hope this helps
Sylvia

Thank You Sylvia!

You are welcome :)
