The Only Difference Between a Rich Person and a Poor Person is.
If you're like me you are probably reading this intro hoping that you will get the answer straight away...
Well, I feel like this message is probably the best lesson I've ever learnt.
In fact, it is the exact message that I want my whole main business/ brand to represent.
I bet you want to know what it is now?
Hopefully you've opened the whole page by now so I'm not going to drag it out. But I hope you do read the whole of this short post...
The only difference between a rich person and a poor person is how they use their time.
(My main website is called Make Time Online, FYI!)
Think about it...
We all get the same 24 hours in the day.
Nobody has more or less time...
But how often do you hear people say this...
"I just don't have the time to go to the gym"
or
"I wish I had more time to spend with my family"
or
"I don't have the time to travel"
or
"I don't have enough time to dedicate to my online business"
It's all a load of crap!
Apologies for the bluntness...
These are excuses not reasons!
EVERYONE HAS THE SAME AMOUNT OF TIME!!
Stop...
Now read that sentence again.
The difference is that some people use their time wisely, and others squander it.
Time is the most valuable asset we have
So many people already know that this is true.
But you can interpret it in different ways:
Person 1 hears it like this:
"Oh so I need to spend every minute of today making the most of my life... I need to go and eat out at posh restaraunts, or go on holiday now, or spend my time on the beach all day because I love doing that!"
Person 2 hears it like this:
"So if time is the most valuable asset, I need to find ways that I can use my time today so that my time in the future is freed up! That way I will be "rich" in the future to spend my life any way I want"
You can probably see that person 2 will end up having the time to do what they want in the future.
So they create small habits and daily routines that help them to achieve more time in the future!
Truth Bomb
Most people are in a situation where they are trading their time for money (a job).
Now, not all jobs are really bad and I know some people LOVE their jobs.
But...
Let's talk seriously now...
Would you CHOOSE to be at your job every single day that you HAVE to be there?
Seriously?... every day?
Wouldn't it be better if you got to choose the days that you work?
Choose the amount of time you want to spend on it?
I'm not promoting a life of not "working" or contributing something to society and helping others.
Quite the opposite!
This is what the "rich" do...
They spend their time today making sure that they have freedom... control... time to spend in any way that they want in the future.
They know that if they really want to have an impact and help those they love they will need the time to be able to do it.
Now, I don't mean rich in terms of money (although money is what buys freedom in the 21st Century)... but I mean in terms of
TIME!

Time is precious, and it seems that there are never enough time to accomplish what you want to do. However, no excuse, for me reading all these post, blog, and watching some training, it's a full day for me.
When do I get to see the $$ sign?

Watching training, reading these posts and similar efforts are super important to get the knowledge we need. But nothing replaces action.
If you keep putting in the work you will eventually see the rewards.
Time is money. If you don't take the time to put in the work you don't get the money simple. I wish that I would just take that extra hour a day and work on my site but during the week every night, we have to run the kids and so on. I am tired from just going back to work full time. These are my excuses and I am working to change them. This post will help me to work towards that even more now. Thank you it was a great post for the week ahead.

Major accomplishments, like accumulating wealth are the result of many small but targeted goals that these rich people ACCOMPLISHED and continue to do so on a daily basis.
Examples of targeted goals that became large and successful: Microsoft's Windows application software, youtube, google, Wealthy Affiliate, Electric vehicles etc.

Great message Mike, like you said we all have the same 24 hrs. Time will wait for no one it just keep ticking away. It’s up to the individual to make a decision to make time count. This is my third day with WA on my second day that’s yesterday I’ve Upgraded to Premium. Right now I’m deciding what niche I’ll pick. This is completely new to me and I guess other’s too. I wish the best for everyone enjoy the ride to a Better & Fruitful Lifestyle in the near Future.

Hello Mike such a great post and an 👁 opener for me. Time is of the essence and it’s what we do now to accomplish our goals for the future. I baby sit one of my grandchild during the day, since I’ve retired. She’s a handful also a toddler. So when I put her down to nap, that’s when I have time for myself to continue my training.
