Core “Business Start Up” Training

Not finding training on how to customize the look of our website, changing typefaces, column structure, etc.

Hi Michael,

As Catherine said it comes down to your theme. So the best thing to do is choose a theme that looks mostly how you want it 'out of the box'.

From there, customising the look can be done by learning to do CSS coding which is the best but also hardest and most risky approach (you can break your site if you start messing with code in the wrong places).

Or you can use a page builder plugin of some kind, like Thrive Architect. But this is not free and to be honest not what I would recommend for the bulk of your content. Only specific pages you want to customise.

Changing the visual aspects of a theme are often theme dependent normally. So you need to Google the specific theme and tutorials.
however most basic customizations are found here
Dashboard
Appearance
Themes
Customize

if you get stuck on a particular thing it is worth asking how the community how to do the example in example theme

Thank you!
