Hi everyone.
I have just been looking at my website in the back office of wordpress and found that SEO Keywords, Title and Description have no values. I checked back on K
If you have the SEO Plugin's Global Settings set, then you do not need to do this manually, unless you want to override the settings.
The SEO Title will be created automatically and usually takes the form of "Post Title - Site Name", the SEO Description field will take its data from the first 160 characters of your Excerpt field, if populated, otherwise, it will take the first 160 characters from your content.
You can confirm this by logging out of WordPress, visiting one of your "potentially" affected posts, right-clicking and select "View Source".
You are then looking in the meta tags between the head tags at the top for Title and Description.
Or you can enter your post into the following website to see how it appears.

Hi Mike, I also do SEO Title and Description manually before publishing new posts or update any of them. I do manually even the Meta title and description for the social media.
I'm sorry that you need to do all the work again because the time is precious and I understand you very well.
Best

Thank you all for the answers. You all seem to suggest manually application so I guess I will have to go down that route!
I just cant think why this has happened?
Mike
I always fill them manually But remember to click on the “Update” afterwards otherwise nothing will be saved

Hi Everyone.
"Usually" when i write a post for my website I log into WA and write the post from there, usually i log into WA and i am "in" - Its always been smooth and ea
Hi, I am wondering why it's happening. I think some times it's due to the safety reasons it asks for the user name and password. For the image I think give it a time and try to do it again.
Thank you.
Love,
Shahlla
Hi Shahlla,
Its new to me, I think you are probably correct!
I am sure it will be OK if I try again.
Love back to you - Stay safe.

Hey Mike,
The links that are offered to our websites from SiteManager are just that... links to the websites for our ease.
Our WA hosted websites reside on a sever of their own and can be accessed without logging into WA. For example, here's one way to do that: Login to WordPress Quickly One member was using the Edge browser a few days ago and images REFUSED to upload for him. Once he tried a DIFFERENT browser, all was just fine. That may be your issue too.
Using a desktop and/or laptop computer to create and tend to a WordPress website is truly the best devices to be using.
Hope you find this helpful.
Thank you so much. That sounds like my issue, I will give a different browser a go!
Kind Regards
Mike
Good afternoon, not today, I have in the past few times however, I contacted site support and they took care of it immediately. We have a great team that takes care of that, try to have a wonderful day be safe.

Hi everyone.
I remember seeing a post from the carson about Kraken back in July.
I seem to remember that he advised existing websites to stay with the existing imag
Hi Mike, I have the Kraken plugin installed and running. Replaced the EWWW image optimizer. Don't understand what all the hype was about.
Best wishes,
Michael
If its a new site Kraken will show up automatically, an established site should be left alone unless you are moving it to the new beta servers. Jim
hey hi Mike -- super question!
it's been about a month and a half or so since the introduction by Carson and yes, what you've said sounds about right .....
migration at the server level has been taking place ... lots of work.... can only imagine the amount of effort they're making on this one ....
here's his post on it for you --- as reference just in case ... Kraken Image Optimization Now at Wealthy Affiliate
*** you're most welcome, Mike! .... keep well, keep happy!
yes, that's the ticket! .... lol .... cheerio ... :) ***
Yes.
Best is to install kraken and ask site support to activate it for you and move your site to the new beta servers
