Hi Everyone. Well its one month since my WA Premium membership.

Its been a fascinating first few steps. I have learnt a great deal in a short time and have received help from the WA community which is a massive bonus for me.

Words & phrases that previously sounded like something from "Klingon" (not sure how you spell that but you know, star trek, baddies....) now make a bit of sense.

I have found that the learning on here has been subtle, like you don't actually realise you are learning.

My new website is now starting to take shape.

Writing content can be tough at times but when you calm yourself, switch off your phone and get "in the zone" you suddenly realise that you know stuff!

Its not easy but if I can manage it anyone can.

Frustrations - Getting images into the content writer, or rather positioning them in the content writer, I assumed that you would be able to insert an image and then drag and drop BUT I haven't been able to do this - I am sure it will come with time and experience and with help from you guys.

Regrets - Only one - I should have gone premium 2 years ago.

The Picture on this post is my best friend - His name is Bertie - He is 15 Months old and he makes me smile and laugh everyday.

Thank you for reading my little update,

Mike

Congrats on your first month.
Bertie looks like a real sweetie. What would we do without our pet friends.

Thank you! - My Dog keeps me smiling and laughing which is great, Mike

Nice one! Keep it up!

Thank You Bob - Mike

Hi Mike, congratulations on your one month. No room for regrets only lessons.

Thank you - Mike

That is where alignment comes in, within SiteContent, you choose your image and you align to the left or the right and it will insert it into the appropriate location.

You can then edit, and realign if you want, or crop to a smaller size. This is the best way to edit images, using a drag and drop editor can often times not be a true "what you see is what you get" editor, or it can really mess up your actual content.

Overall, nice work on your progress thus far!

Thanks Kyle. I made a post on my website yesterday and in editor it looked "ok" - When I viewed it as a published post it looked MUCH better and I was very pleased, Thank you for the input Mike

Hi Mike, my full-time job ( making $$$ for someone else ) is working for a web design company. I've been doing that for 4 years and I still sometimes have issues with placing images in sites. It's just one of those things you need to do a bunch and make mistakes before you get a grip on it.

Finding content to write can be challenging, however, I will say since I joined WA last June my writing skills have improved greatly.

Bertie looks very cool. The unconditional love of dogs is never-ending.

Thanks for your post!

Cal

Hi Cal - Thanks for the message, its good to hear that the image alignment issue will become easier with time, in truth its better now than it was a week ago!

The writing is challenging but I must admit I enjoy it (to my surprise)

Bertie is great and as you say the love you get from dog is unconditional and wonderful,

Regards Mike

You're welcome Mike, keep pushing forward!

Cal
