MOBILE Website Speed - Advice required.
Hi Everyone.
I have just read Kyles message about slow themes and how important Website speed is.
My site is around 65 posts long now and still very much in the eraly stages of development.
I carried out the speed test as advised by Kyle and had some unusual results.
My desk top speeds were good - late 90s and some at 100.
MOBILE speeds however were around 50 to 60
I know that some of my early posts have images that are too large and it is on ly list to go back and change these.
Can anyone offer any othere areas that i could look at to improve the mobile speed.
My theme is Yugen.

Hi Mike, how many plugins are you using. Chrystopher has done some speed tests on themes, and their relation to site speeds. He is pretty awesome. I will look for his post. I am sure he would not mind if I share it with you. We all work together here at WA.
Mobile speeds are important 50 and 60, I am sure you can improve on them.
I have not experimented with the Yugen theme, so I can not comment on it.
Would be nice to know which plugins you are using, and go from there.

I think my main issue is image size.
I only have a handful of plugins from the WA training.
I am going to try a a couple of things and take it from there.
