Is this an example of an Ultimate Niche or is it something else?

I live in a town called Watford. It is situated around 20 miles north of my home town London.

Everyday me and my best friend go for walks to our local park, on every walk we pass this place. It is the Warner brothers studios situated on an old airfield. WB started making movies there many years ago, including Harry Potter movies - It is now a working film studio and also home to the Warner Brothers Harry Potter studio tour.

Every day I see coaches from all around Europe, hundreds a week in fact. I also get to help people with directions, people from Japan, Asia, Australia and all over.

I am fascinated by the draw of Harry Potter, they are good books and good movies but what is it that makes them such an attractive option for visitors, is this an example of a super Niche?

I wonder if JK Rowling had any idea that she would be creating an industry within an industry - considering that the films finished some years ago it amazes me how popular the Harry Potter "Niche" is.

It would certainly be a popular subject. Might be okay.

I believe it would be a wonderful niche. There are tons of Harry Potter fans.

Harry Potter is almost a religion to some people. If people are still visiting the ball field where Field of Dreams was filmed back in 1989, then this will remain a mecca for decades to come. Yeah, you can do a lot with this, especially by tying in your geo location so close to the filming sites. You can be a way for people to experience the location even if they can't travel. I think it's a goldmine! So study sites that are specific to locations - a single town or city or attraction. See what you like, what you don't, get lots of ideas for individual articles. Don't make yourself crazy with long posts - you can do a lot with 800-1000 words and better to have a bunch of articles rank on single keywords than one article rank on many. Good luck - this sounds great!

Wow thank you so much for the input. I never thought of it that way 😁 regards mike

I could not make it thru Harry P. They are kids movies, not marketed to me. I am more of a Tolkien fan. More adult oriented.
Curious to see some of the responses.

Hi Mark.
I have seen the films. They get "dark" at the end of the series. The Visitors to Warner Bros are 50/50 split between kids and adults.
