Hi Everyone.

SO - Following great information from the website feedback part of the level 5 training it appears my website is slower than an overweight snail than smokes 20 cigarettes a day and just cannot keep up to speed.

I have been advised to resize my images.

I have followed the training on here and used tinyjpeg to shrink images. It appears than than was not enough.

I have been told Gimp is a good choice of photo editor moving forward.

BUT - What do I do about my 36 pages with images on? Should I resize these one by one or is there a way of doing them in one go.

I did do a search on here but there were so many answers I got lost in information.

I would love to hear from anyone who has been through this recently and would like to hear any ideas you may have.

Thank you - Mike

Dont you have kraken image optimizer?also adding few plugins like Autoptimize and wp fastest cache shall improve your site speed. Gimp is great for creating photos or converting them from png to jpg or anything else.. do some google research and it will be much clearer.. also, try changing your wp theme, i had generatepress and when i changed it, my sitespeed improved.. next tip: google adsense and amazon native ads will slow down your site so dont put too much of them. (I turned off adsense 100% - it can bring only few $ per month for me, its not worth it yet)

Many thanks for the input Petar.
Regards
Mike
