Forwarding Website Emails.

Last Update: June 05, 2020

Hi Everyone.

I have a couple of questions regarding website emails.

So I have an email with my name on that I use on my website, it is getting busy with the passing of time and I want to use the forwarding option to my everyday email account.

To do this I understand that I have to delete my web email address then set it up again under the forwarding tab so question one is - Is there any pitfalls in doing this?

Second question - Can I reply from my normal account so that it appears the reply has come from my website email address?

Thank you.

Stay safe - Mike

Personally, I would leave it as a Full Mailbox, so that you can keep the emails seperated, along with being able to reply as that email address.

Which email client do you use for your daily email?

Outlook, GMail or your Phone etc?

You can use the SMTP settings and add the account as an additional account to it.

Thank you Chrystopher,

I admit part of me wants to keep it separate as it goes with my "put things in boxes" way of organising things.

I am using a btinternet address which I think is yahoo.

Is that Webmail? If it is, you could always just have two tabs open? One for WA and one for BT?

I'm not sure, but BT might allow you to add a 3rd Party Email Account to their Webmail using POP3/IMAP and SMTP Settings
