Good morning Mikael,
I agree with you, Mikael, it's very important to get straight to the point, especially as often we are just looking to solve a problem and want the answer. I know that some people have a trailer on the video, but I have always thought it's best just to get straight in.
I follow someone on YouTube who is highly successful and often I will have to run the video 15 minutes forward to get to the proper starting point. I appreciate that I listen to this channel a lot, so I don't need to hear things like notices over and over again. I've often wondered if they lose people in the beginning or perhaps people do as I do and fast forward to where the real information starts.
It sounds like I'm doing something right, Mikael, as like you, I have a subscribe amination button appear at the start and towards the end of the video.
Once again, I appreciate your very wise words and useful information; thank you.
Have a great day.
Roy
Thanks Roy.
I appreciate you sharing your thoughts on this. I personally also get annoyed when it takes too long to get to the point but very popular channels might easier get away with it. But when trying to build a channel it is extra important not to annoy people as they will not be as patient.
Good morning Mikael,
I know where you are coming from, Mikael, I kind of feel the same, but I have just got used to running the video forward. It does make me wonder if they lose traffic, especially for people who don't know the channel.
Yes, I agree with you, we don't want to do anything that's going to make our viewers click away from the channel.
Have a great day and all the best.
Roy
