Don't try to sell!
During the certification course I am going through here at WA, Kyle often mentions that we should first of all focus on the quality of our content and helping - not just try to sell.
This is one of the amazing things about this training - that it is about trying to build a genuine and honest online business and not about tricks to just get money out of people. I have been looking a long time for this:-)
When I look at websites from people here at WA, there is so much amazing and useful content. I do however think many of us still once in a while fall into the trap of trying to sell too much. We all want to create good and useful content, but we also all want to eventually be able to make some money from our websites. Nothing wrong with that. Sometimes I think our eagerness for this might just take over and the quality suffers from this. So this is a friendly reminder to all of us (myself included) to focus on helping people and creating useful content, and not just selling.
In the long run, creating useful content will make you more money anyway. But that is not the only reason I think this should be the focus. When I think about all the considerations I had before joining WA, many of my concerns were about the honesty of the page and the training here. I could only find positive reviews, but I was still suspicious. Like many of you, I have also seen soo many scams online and fake reviews etc. to get money out of you. Luckily I decided to join anyway and can now see how beneficial the training and support here is.
But my point is that if there was not so much dishonest content out there, we would all not have to worry so much before signing up for anything online. So I really love that the focus here is to build quality and help. Think we should all strive for this and support and remind each about this, so that we are not part of creating more BS and dishonest content online - there is enough of that:-)

Nice post.
I have commented a couple of times now that I am so excited about the opportunity to reach out to people and actually help them. I know exactly what it is like to be in a tough position and be searching for "just one break" to start turning things around. I am not making a penny at the moment, but I am loving everything that I am doing here.
To me, helping someone improve their life is the real reward; making some money (eventually...) is just a great side-effect of that.
Yes to be able to combine helping, passion and making money is a great way to try to live and work I think
I understand what your saying. I find my content getting much better since I have been at WA. I then look at the high quality sites out there from huge companies and I realize that the look I want. To be like the comedian that just acts like he talking to you yet in reality he has spent years perfecting his act
Yes definitely helps a lot on the content to be here. The certification course is a great reminder for me in this area - and in many other areas:-)
