whenever i post new things on google plus, it stucks at +1 only. how can we get engagement here?

Your +1 number will only go up when more people +1 it, which is the same as clicking the "Like" button on Facebook.

You can +1 your own posts and it will count as a +1 social signal to Google but the only way to get the +1 to go up to a +2 and more is to get other people to like your post.

And that is the actual question, how do i get people to +1 my posts

1) If you haven't already you need to build a target audience for the niche of what your posts are about. Let's say your niche was Organic Foods, you would seek out Google+ Communities on Organic Foods and join them. Make some connections with the people in those communities and add them to your circles. I'm sure you already have people from WA in your circles.

2) Then share your posts with the people within the communities you join as well as with those people in your circles.

3) When you share your posts on your Google+ profile page you have to share it via the "Public" setting and not to just people in your circles.

4) And lastly and most importantly, your content has to be written well enough that people will like it and will want to +1 it.

IS it important to fill in the details like Title, Meta description, and keywords while writing the post and pages in the All in one SEO plugin section?

Robert wrote an excellent post on meta tags...check it out.

Hey Amit,

The short answer is: No, you do not want to fill the details in that the All-in-one SEO plugin gives you within each post.

WordPress will auto generate your description for you based on your content which is exactly what you want to happen. Your Title will match the title you chose, and the keyword meta tag is not used.

Carson

Thanks Carson for a quick and clear answer....that was a confusing thing

It takes a while. With only 5 posts that's not too many. You can track your traffic with Google Analytics.

Is your site indexed..

Yes buddy....

I visited your site.. It's good.. so be patience .. you will have flow of traffic.. :)

Your site has only been live for 3 days, give Google a chance to notice it.

You can help things along by adding Google Analytics and Google Webmaster tools.

Analytics and webmasters are already added.....and all the posts are indexed too...I had made a check by typing on Google search- site:www.friedcoffee.com

That is good advice bazboy247, when my site is more built i will ask you to take a view on it.

OK I can do that any time

Barry

Hello, I took a few minutes to check out your site, since I am also passionate about coffe. I think your site is coming just fine, images and organization looks very well, it actually makes me want a capuccino rigth now. I am very new at this (just 30 days) I still don´t get the traffic stuff, I mean I just visited your site, isn´t that traffic? how, where do you check those numbers?

Anyway, keep the good work, and as the other more experienced members says, it tkes perseverance.

Yeah, I too feel to keep writing and have patience....and thanks for the like and visit....

Ok, a few tips for you to get better rankings

1. Get rid of the site map page it is not needed, keep the site map but you do not need a page on the menu

2. Put your photo in the side bar so it shows on every page make the site more human

3. Link your posts together its called internal linking so on the first post put a link to the second post internal linking boosts SEO rank a lot

4. Instead of contact us and about us make it, contact (your name here) and about (your name here )

Your posts are very good, very well written and clearly laid out. your site looks very professional indeed, just make it more human with your photos, so when people read your content they attach it to a real person

Think about doing a post called, welcome to my blog and tell them what they are going to get and what it is all about, ask them to contribute

You have a advert for landlord insurance what has that go to do with coffee, it is not relevant so it really is a waste of blog space, people looking for coffee info are hardly likely to click on a add for landlords insurance

Google wants the visitor to have relevant content and adds to increase the end user experience so use targeted adds about your niche

Example - Coffee machines on Amazon

What about review of "best coffee machines", theses items are very popular, do some keyword research on coffee machines see what you come up with

Hope this has been helpful

Barry

Thanks Barry for your valuable suggestion and I will follow your above guidelines as they seem to be better things. About the ad, it's Google adsense and it shows the ads according to the visitors site visiting history. You might have visited Insurance sites in recent time and may be that's why it is showing insurance ads....Will go for coffee machines sooner....Would you like to buy one....:)

I like your site by the way. Huge coffee drinker.

Thanks Steveo, that is the boosting required. If you like to see something more on that site, feel free to comment there...

Here's a great training video on what to do after creating new content.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/your-first-60-minutes-after-content-creation

Not enough. You may need 20 to 30 pages before you start seeing daily visits. How old is your site? It can take several months of consistent activity to get indexed quickly and ranked well.

Domain is about 6 months old but I started working on it from about a month ago.

It takes time and patience. Keep writing posts, target the low hanging fruit, build your reputation and they will come.

What should I do after writing a new post. How should I get that post in front of people?

When ever you rcreate a new post you should take advantage of the comment sharing threads here at WA. I would also share them on social media too. Typically it takes a month or three to really get the Organic traffic flowing.

For the Comment share threads check out my training here which has them all listed in the end: https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/understanding-feedback-comments-social-sharing

I do share them in social networks but what if you do not have likes on fan page, less followers on twitter and whatever...I am not a social network genius though but do wanna know how to get engagement in social network. Our post should get spread to many but how it's done is a big question mark...

The trick is to just keep working it. Slowly, day by day your network will continue to grow. You have to be patient in this game.

A lot of options are coming in my mind when I am trying to choose a niche like "how to manage your kitchen", "how to repair your car at home", "how to make good tea at home"...a

Your niche needs to be about a group of people that have a problem and are willing to pay for the solution
ask your self this question;
Can I solve the problems of the people in my niche and are they willing to pay for the solution
What sort of problems do they have
Then ask, how do I monetise this niche which affiliate program am I going to use
Barry

Buddy, I had made a list of many problems but I need to go for one...and that is becoming a problem. With the WA keyword tool help, it says that search for the term that has about 200-400 searches and 50-70 traffic. Then in those 50-70 traffic per month, how many of these are going to convert and i guess approximate conversions will be 5-8, which means even a single conversion is paying $15 it means just $120 a month.
I need a hand on this....Please guide me on this about How to select a niche that is profitable...

I have just done am article on this, you can read it here, don't over think this, just choose a big profitable niche first where people are spending money work out the details afterwards
Take a look at this article it will help you understand things better
