Years ago, I think it was while I was in the Marine Corps, I started a loosely regimented organization called the Keepers of Odd Knowledge Society.
This is for people who have made a habit, call it an obsession, of hanging onto a lot of pieces of information that others either do not know and/or don't want to know for various reasons.
These ideas or info scraps are things like:
- How to use all of the lighter fluid in the can and NOT get the grill going.
- What is the difference between an A-line and a dress with 'cup' sleeves (whatever they are.)
- Why people use poems to make a specific point when the point of the poem, itself, is not understandable.
There are many other things that members keep track of and you can probably think of things you know that it does not appear anyone else does or wants to.
Everyone, including you, learning all sorts of things about building websites, HTML and CSS, qualifies for membership! Admittance is guaranteed!
I am albsolutely positive you have heard of this organization.

Did you know that a used dryer sheet does an excellent job cleaning your sink and fixtures?
