What Do You Know About Chicken Coops?
There have been quite a few blogs and questions about what types of things to blog about. This question often takes the form of frustration. (What should I write about? / I don't know what my Passion is, please help.) I have been thinking that one of the things I can do to help is to grab a quick look at some topics that you can build into a website or added as additional content to the one you are working on right now, so:
What Do You Know About Chicken Coops? (OR what can you learn in a few days that will help others understand what they can do with one of these structures in their back or side yard?)
A website built around a structure that can help your readers in many ways could be a lot of fun for them as well as for you can help promote many different things, actually.
Having a chicken coop in the yard can help in a couple of ways:
Fresh Eggs
Selling Fresh Eggs
Having fertilizer for the garden
something for kids to play around and with!
(You will have to learn which ones are safe for kids and other pets!)
Hint:
Buffs. They are often called the “golden retrievers” of the chicken world.
Australorps. Blending the words “Australian” and “Orpington”.
Faverolles. The most adorable chicken breeds.
Cochins. ...
Olive Eggers.
There are many books that will offer the different plans for chicken coops that are as much fun to build as they are to maintain, especially if they get the rest of the family involved!
There are many chicken coop kits available at Amazon and a few books with plans and instructions as well as how to run a productive and profitable coop for 2 through 10 chickens at a time. (all of the plans are scalable as well!)
The addition of a coop in the backyard, starting when the kids are young will help them learn about the natural world as with any other pet. (You just can't usually take them into the house!)
They can have regular chores, such as filling the feeder and waterers and collecting eggs. This helps them be part of the whole thing.

Building a site about chicken coops or include a promotion on any other site that deals with Home & Garden subjects or even about children and training them to take responsibility for something and this could be a niche that helps you earn something to put in your 'Nest Egg'!

Love it!!! Funny thing is, I've been looking up how to build chicken coops this past week...haha!! I've been wanting to get chickens so I've been reading other blogs about them. And this is just a great idea...not necessarily the chicken coops but just something like this to help getting me started. I was wanting to add "Kids Safety" to my family lifestyle blog but I was trying to figure out what and how many affiliates there would be for this niche. Any advice??
A quick look doesn't bring up anything. (you probably already tried that!) If you know of particular products, go to their site and look for the 'Affiliate' link (it is usually at the bottom) and click on it.
It may say 'associates' or 'make money with us' You can make a direct affiliate agreement with them or it will tell you where their affiliates are handled.
Love this subject! My daughter had chickens for a while and loved them. So nice to have fresh eggs!
Most people like fresh eggs, and if you could it yourself? Yes, it is messy, but they are great!

I am going to use your ideas for my grandson's website.
I helped him get his Facebook site up and running. We are having trouble loading photos on his website, so we went Facebook instead until we get the photo thing figured out.
Facebook lets us upload photos and videos directly from my IPad. The website does not.
Next we are going to start his You Tube Channel.
His sites are all called "The Junior Canadian Farmer."
Caelan MacNeil 9 years old.
His posts, so far, are all about "his" chickens.
