Thinking of going Premium?

Hey WA Community,

Welcome to my first blog!!

It's the 21st April 2016, I just signed up to Premium and couldn't be more excited!! Feels like I've taken a small step towards something huge :)

I signed up as a free member 5 days before writing this. As with everything online that asks for money, I was sceptical. After a little research, a few hours of learning and interacting with the community, I quickly realised that this place is the real deal and if my goal of becoming successful and going on to help others was to become a reality, Wealthy Affiliate was where it would all start.

I'm only a few days in to my training and am thoroughly enjoying what I'm learning. I plan to immerse myself in my spare time and create spare time to learn as much as possible so I can put it all into action.

Why I'm Here...

I'm from sunny London!! My wife (we're not actually married!!) 3, children and I currently live in much sunnier India because of her job. Over the last 10 years we've been fortunate enough to live in the UK, Colombia and China, supporting my wife's career and enjoying the perks that it offers. We've travelled to many places and experienced many cultures. An education that has clearly benefited my kids, my wife and myself. I'm extremely grateful for this.

I count myself lucky that I've always been able to find work abroad and for the last 5 years continue to work from home for the same UK based company, selling investments. I love my job. But the main reason I count myself lucky is because I've seen how hard it can be for spouses supporting their spouses' careers in a different country. It's easy to get bored and depressed being home all day in a strange, new place, waiting for your loved one to come home from work or a week long business trip. I aim to help people in this situation through Wealthy Affiliate by giving them something to focus on, people to talk to and financial independence.

Another reason I'm here is because of the hours I work. Communicating with clients in the UK means I work UK hours, which is not ideal for spending time with my family here in India. My aim is to make sufficient income - and a whole lot more - that enables me to quit!!

Before I go, I'd like to thank everyone for their encouragement and support since I joined and welcome new members with the same.
