Why Wealthy Affiliate has the best hosting for WordPress.
It has generally been assumed that Bluehost was top of the tree for WordPress hosting.
Being owned by Endurance International Group (EIG), since 2010, EIG was acquired by Clearlake Capital Group early last year (2021), and is now called Newfold Digital.
Can you expect better hosting service from Newfold Digital?
No, if your unhappy with the service it is a common misconception that moving from one hosting to another will improve your outcomes.
EIG not only owned Bluehost, it had a stable of 70 other web-hosting companies. You may be familiar with Hostgator, Host Monster, Fat Cow, PureHost, SEO Hosting and dozens more.
So if you moved your hosting to "another company" expecting a better deal/service, all you most likely did was just swap names.
The company was still run by EIG.
Compare that with the service you get here at Wealthy Affiliate.
Is pricing any better with Newfold Digital?
Nope! Big companies only understand Dollars not users.
One of the first things they did was lay off staff. Obviously that hurts service and products.
Compare any hosting from the Newfold Digital stable of companies and you will find they don't come close to Wealthy Affiliate hosting, for cost, service and usability for creating blog posts on WordPress.
If you pay yearly there may be a $20-$30 difference between Wealthy Affiliate and other hosting.
Ok, the payment to WA is in $USD.
Some other hosting may be country specific in price, Siteground (for example which is not part of Newfold Digital).
But, it has a ton of upsells to get to the same level as Wealthy Affiliate.
if you were to get to the same level of hosting as you have at WA, then you would be paying at least the same, or more than the converted value of your currency vs the USD at the bare minimum.

Mick, yeah, I am not too surprised to learn about this. Look at their ads on YouTube. They do not look impressive. I must say. They spend a lot of money on ads, and people know it's low quality. SiteGround offers better, but not the best, WA hosting best because of SiteSupport. That is the best outcome. You can expect to wait days, whereas WA SiteSupport responds fast and fix the issues pretty fast for me.
