A Roller Coaster couple of Months.
Sometimes I wonder if I will ever have some peace in my life. I get emotional at times, frustrated, even angry. At work I am known as the guy who always keeps his cool. (most of the time).
But really that is all a front to get what I want.
Today was a day, where I think that all that is going on around me, makes everything I do so very insignifigant.
A friend called early this morning. He told me fibbsy had died. Another one, I thought. F**k.
But reality was, I knew fibbsy was never going to be around for a long time. He and the bottle had been partners for ages. Last year he had a kidney transplant.. They had to dry him out before they could operate.
He was happy with his new kidney " Got it from a young fella, I will be able to drink some beer with this one"... !
All bravado of course, over the past couple of years he and his wife had split, he lost his job, and was living in a downstairs room at his brothers place.
I have seen it all before, sometimes you think people have their act together, off the booze, new Harley, but a couple of months later they are found hanging from a tree. 40 and gone.
I think why, I think of others I have known, I get angry, I know the black dog, I have been tempted to put my kayak in the water and paddle east, or something else.. In the mental darkness you actually feel like you are doing the right thing. No fear, just go and do it.
What does this have to do with Wealthy Affiliate. It could be not much or a Hell of a lot. depends on your point of view.
Lets go with the positive and delete the demon in your mind. Lets not analyse the reasons why we are doing this. Just do it.
Write something every day, even if you feel angry, frustrated or listless.

Michael, writing is good therapy for you. It allows you to get out all these emotions that you have inside of you. Keep a daily journal. I do. It's my prayer journal, but what better person to get out all your feelings out to than to God. Things will get better. You are doing great with WA. I just hate to see that you are so down right now. Like you said delete the demon from your mind. Think about what a great family you have here at WA. Think about all the ways you can help a newbie. You got this. Reach for the stars.

Michael--you're exactly right, writing daily regardless of your mood will help to clear your mental cache and assist in making you feel more positive, which in turn increases your productivity, which will ultimately lead to your success!

So sorry you lost your friend, sadly some are self destructive and there is nothing you can do to help.
WA is both those at times, not too much and overwhelming all at once. But we try to stay positive and keep plodding away.
Keep going Michael, you can do this.
Sorry to hear this about him. Too many people taken away and it's never at the right time or age. Many people can seek help and choose the easy way out. The great thing about the world is that there are so many people willing to help without being asked to help.
The same goes for here and it really goes to show how great the people are here and willing to help at the drop of a hat. I hope your journey can continue here and you find success. I also hope that we can help promote to people there are helplines across the globe for anyone to call and just talk.
