I currently get about 150 views a day on my You Tube Channel and I wanted to ask if anyone has some suggestions on how to get some of that viewing traffic through to my website

Hey Michael, this post may give you some ideas :

Use CTA annotations on your video. Place your links to your site in your YT description

Hi There, thanks for the response, I am already using annotations plus the video description also has my website links included so already have those covered. thanks for your in put though.

Cheers,
Michael

Perhaps have a lead bait offer that they click on and go to a section of your site to redeem it

Can anyone recommend a 'plug in' for this scenario -

Eliminate render-blocking JavaScript and CSS in above-the-fold content

Any help or advice on this would be appreciate

Good topic Michael, I have the same problem and have been ignoring it. Now I may take another look at it. Thanks!

Marty

this might be of help to you

Hi this is all from your theme settings and there is nothing you can really do

I had the same problem. Haven't done anything with it yet, but I got some good responses. Carson chimed in as well.... You can find my question and resposes here...

Thanks most appreciated, I will do what Carson says and ignore it! Cheers, Michael

Does anyone have any recommendations on making sure that your website looks the same on all computer screens? I designed my website on a Mac sized screen which looks fine, howe

Hi Michael,
A Responsive theme is one that looks good on everything: Tablets, Desktops, Phones, everything.
Here's a good lesson on making a non-responsive theme into a responsive one: Also, this covers how to test if your theme is responsive. (The really quick way is to shrink the window on your desktop or laptop to cell phone size. If it doesn't change, it's probably not responsive).
I have a responsive theme but didn't like the way the menu is laid out. Here's what I used for that: WP Responsive Menu. If there's anything else I can help you out with, please let me know.
Michael

Hi Michael, thanks for this I will look into it, thank you. Cheers, Michael

I already use a responsive theme

I know this may sound simplistic but use a responsive theme.

I have just gone into 'edit' mode in 'posts' and cannot see any of my posts when I click onto edit, this is the first time this has happened and I am a little panicky at the mo

After you click the post it's blank but the word count is there? I am experiencing as well, just click refresh again and it work for me. Don't panic. I stop working at the moment something might need to update.

Hi Vic, thanks for the suggestions, I looked into your suggested ways and also found other suggestions but still no luck. So I have now sent in a message to WA support for assistance. Cheers, Michael

HI Michael, Sorry I couldn't be of better assistance. I am sure support will rectify the probelm soon.
Victoria

They did thanks Victoria, but thanks anyway it was most appreciated.

Great.

HI, I've not experienced this issue myself but I came across this post from another member which might help you troubleshoot and solve the issue. Alternatively, have you just installed any new plugins which may be causing a conflict?

I hope it helps
Victoria

As Victoria says, there was somebody else complaining today and Kyle replied saying something about possible plugin cause. Otherwise clear browsing history, this typically helps at my side.

I am currently putting my branded image in my header on my landing page, you will see there is a gap between the logo and the start of the body of the website - www.bogeystobir

I thought on looking at your site the white fits in with the layout personally I think it looks great

Your site looks great; even found myself looking around at it and I don't play golf. Nice job sir.

Thank you very much, feedback is always welcome. Cheers, Michael

I tend to agree with Leoemery. The White space looks great , however I do understand your frustration in not being able to fully control your layout. There is another distraction on your header. I don't know if you noticed that the corners of the header are rounded. That would be alright if your layout was not full width but certainly on my Ipad it does match with the rest of your really nice presentation.
Could you tell me what theme you used? If it was an Artisteer theme I might be able to help.
Bob

It's Hueman Bob

Hi Bob, its the Hueman Theme if that helps?

I will upload it to my Rubix test site tomorrow. It's 2:40 a.m. here so I am not much use at the moment.
Bob

Thank you I will leave as is, cheers Michael

I would not get rid of it, it breaks up your menu from your logo and looks great.

I actually think that little gap looks fine. If you are going to need to edit this, that is part of the code of the theme and this will likely be found within the Editor (one of the files associated with your theme, likely the template.php).

The only problem when you start to to mess around with the code you can actually break your website. In this case, I think the little gap provides a clear separation of your header and your menu and it suits it well.

Hi Kyle, your input is most appreciated, I will leave as is and not play about with the code! Regards, Michael

Have you tried to switch off the header ads and site discription? Would that do anything?

Hi Loes, I have tried both of those suggestions and still the same? But thanks anyway much appreciated.

I think you have to make a change somewhere in the stylesheet
display: block to display: none

Hi Loes, I had a look in the style sheet and it quite clearly says " do not edit this in anyway " - I will just carry on with the gap, but thanks. Michael

I know it says that:) I have wrecked many testsite and have found solutions too:)

wow big improvement - is this the space where the title shoul be???

I have just put my logo on my page but if I removed the title then I also would have a white space - have you tried moving images right to the top with the cursor

No I just want to get rid of the space so my brand and menu bar fills the gap? Have tried looking at the code but not having much luck!
