Juggling life, kids, work, and starting a new career

I've been keeping to myself a lot lately, becuase of the sheer volume of things that seem to be happening at the moment. I'm finding that after a long day at work I'm very tired, and only sometimes feeling like writing more in the evening.

The other day I had to laugh at myself, because I had a series of face palm moments that did make me chuckle. I don't take myself too seriously.

Here's the pair of shoes that I grabbed as I left the house, so that I could change in to them when I got to work:

Within moments of discovering my shoes, I also realised that I'd packed the wrong school uniform for my kids, and had also forgotten to take them to their cross country practice. Winning!

Haha. Anyway, we're all in the same boat. Hardworking, and trying to do multiple things at once. Can you relate?

Hope you're all enjoying your weekends :)

~ Melissa

I feel the same way. This adds a tremendous burden to an already packed schedule. I don't know about you but I haven't started making anything yet. My site is almost 2 months old so no money isn't a real shocker.

What I've found that helps is to write stuff from my phone. Then I only need to use the computer to finish up the editing and adding pictures. It doesn't get rid of the burn out, but sitting at the computer with 90% completion is a lot less daunting.

Hi Steve, my site is now 4 months old, and I am not making any money either. I feel like whilst I am dedicating some good time to it, it isn't enough. However, I can't physically do more right now because there just aren't enough hours. So it is what it is for the time being.

I haven't tried writing anything from my phone yet. Sounds like that is working for you nicely. Thanks for the tip.

Hi Melissa, I can definitely relate to that. You just have to prioritize what needs doing and be realistic about how to cope with the things which are stacking up, undone. And you still need to rest and pace yourself. Time with the kids is the best though, irreplaceable. Living The Dream:-) Enjoy! Best Alan

Hi Alan, I love spending time with my kids, so that is and will always be my priority :) Thanks Alan for stopping by!

Hey Mia,
Thanks for the Post. It appears that you have a great sense of
humor which serves you well. The post is very refreshing in that
everyone has probably experienced the same circumstances and
can readily identify with the dilemma. Sometimes it is best to
laugh it off and "Keep on Truckin!" LOL

Cheers,
Ken

Hi Ken, totally. "Keep on Truckin!" - love it!

Hey Mia,
Thanks for everything.

Cheers,
Ken

Thanks.
Ken

Smiling and share similar thought to my own day...Apparently, we are just to laugh at the silliness, shake our fuzzy brain, and "breathe"...Just breathe.

So good to hear from you Mia

Kind regards, David

Oops... here I go, juggling names... still smiling and thanks for the like, Melissa.
I'll carry a refreshed and brighter torch through my day ...respectfully, David

Laughing at silliness sometimes gets us through an otherwise uninspiring day! I'm not loving my job right now, so laughing at the silliness makes it so much easier and fun to get through it! Have a great day David. Cheers,
Melissa

You will certainly start a trend!

I can so relate, it seems like there's 4 Mondays each week. Exhausting to say the least.
You can do it, keep pushing through
Pam

Hi Pam, so can you! We will keep pushing through :)

Sounds like a "super mom" to me. - shirley

You are too kind Shirley. Exhausted mum who gets it wrong often is what I am!

A typical day of multi-tasking Melissa, keep laughing and shrugging it off!

Thanks Kaju!

Thanks for the laughter. At least the shoes are the same color, not too bad. Hope you can walk straight with it. That's life... but hey if you enjoyed every moment of it, live it.
Keep busy.....

Awesome sharing.

Joe
