My niche is in real estate and I recently found out that I have a local competitor who has the exact same name as me. My domain is VIPGTARealEstate and theirs is VIPGTA. I knew
if your gonna do it do it now.... much easier to deal with. then you cna redirect hte misspelled one.
If you're going to change your domain name, I recommend doing it sooner rather than later.
You said you're quite far along with your site setup - how far along are you? Have you been indexed by Google yet?
It's quite easy to change your domain name, you won't have to delete your entire site and start over again, but there's a chance you'll lose some Google "juice" when you do (which is why it's better to do it now at the beginning, rather than waiting until you're more established.)
If it were me, I'd definitely change it. Not only to avoid confusion, but also to avoid any potential trademark infringements for using such a similar name (I'm not a lawyer, that's just my thoughts :)
Hope that helped!
Yeah, it's definitely something to think about! I'd hate to have a trademark attorney knocking on my door (or my inbox :p )

It sounds like it's still early in the game. Changing is not an issue at all.
Even if you are ranked, well, changing a site name isn't that big of a deal. You can use the "move" feature here in WA.
If you are confident you want to change names, better to change sooner than later. Rankings usually remain the same.

Does anyone know if kyle and carson will be updating the lesson under the social engagement training
Google recently announced that they will be shutting down Google+. Will our training be updated to reflect these changes and what tactics might help to fill the resulting void?
Nothing mentioned as far as I know ? there has been some suggestions to start following you tube instead of G+
