SiteDomains do not provide country extensions, including UK, for the domain name - only dot com, org and net.
Where and how do you want to use a postal code?

Hi Jude, thanks for the reply. I'm progressing through the Online Certification 1 , and was attempting to register a domain so I can build my first website, unfortunately I couldn't progress due to this post code issue. After reading your message I guess I will have register it somewhere over than site-domain and transfer it over.
Thanks again
Mike
Not sure what you mean by 'post code' issue. Post code designates a postal address.
A UK domain is for local marketing or do business in the UK. For example, bringing a local business online or where the UK audience is your customer target. Is that what you have in mind?
Otherwise a .com extension would be a better way to go.
You can get a UK domain from Namecheap or GoDaddy. You will not transfer the domain to WA. You will change the DNS address in your registrar account to point your domain name to the WA hosting servers. ~Jude
