How Do We Define Money!
When we want to make a better life for ourselves and our love ones I believe we should take a look at why we have put up road blocks to prevent the flow of money to come to us. I know, I have been there for a long time.!
My dad made it seem that money did grow on trees. I was never taught how to manage money and save. I am writing this Blog so maybe I can help you find the reasons why money alludes you.
I did a blog on the "Law of Attraction", but if you were conditioned as a child to see money as a struggle or elusive, then this blog may help you break that cycle.
Defining Money
There are people who would pursue "money for money's sake", and on the other hand there are those who criticize people who seek money actively and condemn money as the "root of all evil". In a nut shell the first group worships money seemingly as God and the 2nd group disparage money as though it is the devil; however both groups fail to see that money is actually a neutral and non-religious symbol in which a wise man would respect it as a tool to obtain the things he wants in life.
Rather than saying that a man desires money, it is much more appropriate to say that he desires the many things money could purchase. Money is necessary for nearly everything that contributes to a man's well-being and happiness. Money gives man all sorts of opportunities and without it nothing can be done. Some may argue that mankind has had gone through times in which money is not a necessity and having excess of it is a sign of greed, but the fact remains that in this century it has turned into something that is necessary as water and air is to our survival.
It's an undisputed fact that we all need money, either for survival or for esteem. Money signifies more than just well-being and happiness but also anything that is associated with freedom and independence. It gives people the opportunities to fulfill their dreams and to act on what they think.
Give yourself some time to think about the things you wish to achieve with that dream of yours. Is it to live a life without financial worries or burden? Is it to secure your children's future? Whatever dreams that you have thought of right now, most of them would have to be closely related to money. Money would be sort of a nourishment to a man like sunshine and nutrients are to plants for it to sustain its growth. It is a natural instinct to seek satisfaction both spiritually and physically and with that you need money. Do not be afraid to embrace it. In fact, say it out loud that you do desire money and that you are ready to gain mastery over what is right before your eyes.
Your Friend,
Marian

Money and how people perceive it is interesting to analyze. It's merely energy that needs to flow.
You are so right Sui, Everything is energy and it's how we perceive this energy, (Positive or Negative), is the way it will present itself in our life. Have a great week and thanks for the follow.
Always love your posts, Marian! Makes a lot of sense. We do need enough money to pay our bills, and for sustenance and sometimes to help others. We are trying to live as simply as possible right now and not overspend as we are at that "retirement age" and going to downsize (even though we haven't had an overabundant income thus far, it's been enough to have what we need to live comfortably and a few extras). Keep up the wonderful writing!
When I was young I used to tell my mom all I need is love. I was wrong, because marrying my childhood sweetheart & struggling financially broke us apart. I hope to help people understand the dynamics of money and the Law of Attraction, so they can have it all; (family, no bills, enjoy life, be secure and happy).
Thanks for the follow & have a great week!
Most people do not believe they actually deserve something. When it comes to them, they soon correct it by removing that from their life. How many lottery winners are soon broke or bankrupt?
I had a nephew who won $3 million dollars cash in a lottery and in 5 years he and his wife had to file bankruptcy! Lost everything and then some. He came from a poor broken childhood and never learned differently.
In essence I fully agree with you Marian.
To my mind, some folks are too quick to say "money cant buy you happiness".
But if that happiness is the ability to care for your family and provide a better life for them, then it's totally ok with me.
Have a great day.

A study was done (Martin Seligman - positive psychology @ Uni of Penn) and he found that money created more happiness up to a certain standard of living (or rather, lack of it perhaps created unhappiness) but beyond a certain level it didn't have any effect at all on happiness.
Which shows there is a correlation to a certain degree - then beyond the level where you live comfortably it doesn't create more happiness
Hi Sarah, I am aware of that finding. I was speaking on behalf of and from the perspective of the very poor.... The "have nots" , who cant even afford the very basic necessities in life.
Have a very nice evening in Dubai and be safe,

Yes Sarah, I have been there when I was raising 3 kids on my own and I got very sick. Thanks for the support, I appreciate it.
So true and everyone who has been there knows how terrible and scary the experience was. Thanks for your input. Have a great day!
I agree with you 100%. I have met many wealthy people who were warm, caring and very giving to those in need. Thanks for your input.
Good point Sarah
Think, for example, of multi billionaires like Roman Abramovich....saw a photo of him the other day with his yacht as a backdrop, walking around in a small village in Scotland but he was surrounded by security goons, constantly concerned for his own safety and no doubt mindful of kidnapping threats to family members including his own young son....who on earth would want to live like that?
Comfortably off and living in the background, that'd suit me!

There are a few members here that have the gift of the gab, and you are one of them, Marian.
Another great post, Thank you.
I was accused of that! HaHa! The things I talk about has been inside for over 30 years & finally I can share with people who are accepting of what I have to say. It's great and humbling. Have a great day!
Good post, however I need to correct you on something. It is the LOVE of money is the root of all evil, not money itself. The love of it can create power and corruption and these are not good things.

Money is every one's focus to have a better life..But it is how one acquires it. I do believe there can be consequences to what we do with it...good or not good! Very interesting subject...
