Weekly Status Update and Goal Renewal
Wanna Know How I Fared Last Week?
So, my goals were ambitious, yet less so with the lowered post count. Still, I managed to hit them all with the exception of Site Comments, again...
So that means:
- Share one WA post on Facebook - Check.
- Write one post on WA - Check.
- Pop into Live Chat and help at least 5 people per day (30 for the week). This includes answering unanswered questions. - Check.
- Publish one article per site (a total of two). - Check, although my second one didn't get posted until last night.
- Research two keywords per site (a total of 4). - Check.
- Leave six site comments per day (a total of 30) - Sadly, I couldn't find enough to make this goal and was only able to complete 12 total.
- Help others to be accountable for their goals - Leave a comment below with your week's goals and I'll follow up with you next week to see how you did. - Check, I've followed up with the few that left their goals in the comments section.
- Deal with family issues - This one will be ongoing for at least 6 months. - Check, no more details to be given :).
- Work my full-time job. - Check.
As you can see, it was rather busy for me. This week will actually be a bit busier. See the next section for my goals for this week (errily the same but with added non-WA related stuff).
So, What's In Store For This Week?
Pretty much the same, hopefully with more Site Comments. The only addition is the moving on-site and starting the property cleanup process for my mother-in-law's home but that still falls under Deal with family issues.
- Share one WA post on Facebook - Done this morning.
- Write one post on WA - That's this one here.
- Pop into Live Chat and help at least 5 people per day (30 for the week). This includes answering unanswered questions. - In Progress.
- Publish one article per site (a total of two). - Scheduled for Wednesday and Friday.
- Research two keywords per site (a total of 4). - Done.
- Leave six site comments per day (a total of 30). - In Progress.
- Help others to be accountable for their goals - Leave a comment below with your week's goals and I'll follow up with you next week to see how you did. - In Progress (that means leave your goals below so I have some to follow up on next week).
- Deal with family issues - This one will be ongoing for at least 6 months. - In Progress.
Conclusion
Well, there you have it. What I did last week, what's on the plat for this week and a request for your goals so I can follow up with you next week.
Tag, you're it. Leave your goals for the week below. I'll be sure to follow up with you next week to see how you did.
Thank you,
Scott

Similar amount of stuff. At this point, I am writing a post every two days, to keep both sites somewhat current. I have three to do yet for the SAC; got research done for one of them this morning.
I, too, cannot find enough comments to fill out what we are supposed to do. Trying, but there just aren't enough to go around.
Hit them all! Now I have one more SAC post to write, but gotta put up one on my niche site right now. Hanging in there...almost finished with month
Thanks for letting us know your progress.
Just looked at your comments and realized the one place I fell short was site comments. I try, but then they run out before I get enough, and it's the old waiting game. Didn't do chat either. Good to go on the rest.
Well done Scott. You really pack it in.
My goals this week are to find a social plugin and start posting my content on FB and pinterest.
Move on in my level 4 lesson
Post two content to my website
Post in WA - done
Post a question- done
Answer 10 emails a day and leave a positive comment
Do 4 website comments
This is a lot for me but a step in the right direction.
I also answer any questions that come up if I have some idea.
Glad to hear the family issues are moving along
Take care and have a great week
Lily 😊
Awesome goals. BTW I wrote about plugins that share when you post. I ended up using the free version of Nelio Content. You can read a little about it here: Save Time and Post to All of Your Social Media Accounts at Once! I also use a social sharing plugin that allows others to share my posts on various social networks. I can use it myself too as an alternative way to post to my feeds. I wrote about it here: Social Media Plugins - The Recommended One Was Killing My Site Speed
Hello there,
Did you select a social plugin and deploy it? How did you do on your other goals?
Hi Scott,
My goals for next week.
- Put together plan for BF
- Write 2 reviews and 1 regular post for SAC

- Leave 2 site comments each day
Have a great week!
Michael

Failure!
I'm sorry to say, I have failed last week's goals. Not all of them, but enough to call it a failure...
Share one WA post on Facebook - Done.
Write one post on WA - Done.
Pop into Live Chat and help at least 5 people per day (30 for the week). This includes answering unanswered questions. - Missed Thursday and Friday.
Publish one article per site (a total of two). - Missed.
Research two keywords per site (a total of 4). - Done.
Leave six site comments per day (a total of 30). - Only hit 19 of 30.
Help others to be accountable for their goals - Following up now.
Deal with family issues - This one will be ongoing for at least 6 months. - Done.
The main reason I didn't hit my goal was because of the family issue.
My brother-in-law tried a hail Mary defense by filing for a stay of execution on the day he was to be removed from the property. As such, this delayed the execution of the eviction and we spend two days in court arguing the case.
This kept me from having the time to write my articles or continue to leave site comments, even after taking two personal time off days from work. Court just ate that all up.
In the end, he lost but he did end up getting five extra days as the Sheriff doesn't evict on Fridays or Mondays, etc.
I know it was a necessary failure but it's a failure just the same.
I just thought I'd update everyone.
