Just a Quick Status Update
I just wanted to stop in and say hello.
I used to spend 4+ hours a day in Live Chat just hanging around and helping others out. With the SAC going on, a lot of my time is now spent on research, training and writing posts for my 2 sites. In hindsight, this is probably how it should have been the whole time.
Researching keywords and writing 6 posts (1 here, 3 for my WA promotion site and 2 for my drone site) a week is a lot for me so it consumes most of my WA time.
In keeping with my goals, I check Live Chat out as much as I can. I still pop in at least once a day (Monday - Friday) and hang out for 15 minutes minimum and check flip back and forth between Live Chat and whatever tool I'm using at the time (i.e. Site Feedback, Site Content and so on).
I still look at my rank number and am actually surprised that it hasn't shot way up from where I was as an ambassador. It's at 33 as of this writing and 25 is the ambassador cut-off so I'm not too far from it even though my WA participation has dropped significantly.
I just wanted to reassure people that I haven't vanished and I'm happy to help where I can. Please don't hesitate to reach out and ask a question or just say hello.
On a side-note. I'm still having trouble coming up with a total of 50 good keywords to meet the SAC goals. If anyone has a few ideas to spare and want to toss them my way, I wouldn't turn them down :).

SAC certainly reduces time with the community. Jerry Huang talks about sacrifices we have to make to be consistent with our work. Cheers AJ
PS. Anyone who hasn’t checked out and followed Jerry, do yourselves a huge favour and do it. He is a huge WA success, gives brilliant advice and shares how he did this and that. One helleva mentor.

Sounds like you are keeping busy! I didn’t appreciate how much work I would find trying to keep up with 2 sites and the SAC requirements.
We can just do the best we can.
I keep adjusting my goals and am grateful for how much I’m learning along the way!
Glad you're still hanging around. That is a lot of writing I'm having trouble with the 50 keywords too, but I'm going to alphabet soup it this weekend and see what I come up with. I still suck at the live chat but I think I'm getting better. Here's to achieving our SAC goals!
It's hard to find the right balance sometimes. I know you spend a lot of time in Chat, cuz I see you every other time I'm in there :-) So helpful, but you have goals to meet, too! Good for you on doing some re-prioritizing.
Thanks for the update, Scott. Speaking of keywords, I've found all mine, but they are on about six different pieces of paper. If we have to "turn in" our list, I'll have to dig to find them.
No wonder you aren't in chat more, with as much writing as you do! I feel I am extremely lucky to get 4 posts a week -- two for WA and two for my other site.
You are very helpful to many people on here. I am not at all surprised that your rank has stayed fairly high.
It's not just the SAC...personal life (specifically relationships) is demanding more of my time too. I'm still committed to the SAC so I have to take time from something else, LOL.

Hey Fran... you should check out the 'Saved List' function in Jaaxy! I used to write all of mine out too until I tried the list feature. When you find one you like, just check the box to the left, click save to list, and choose a name (like reviews, hahaha) then save. When you want to see all of the ones you saved, click on 'Saved List' and they'll all be there! It's very useful! Saves time and keeps them all in one place. I have about 8 lists now :-)

Congrats on being accepted into the WA SAC. Wishing you success and good luck. You are one of my favorites that I am following.
Just wanna say thanks for all you're great advice.
Don't think I will ever qualify for SAC but am thinking of flying to Vegas and shaking hands with the WA people that have shook the world.
