Don't Hurt Your Online Business - The Benefits of Having a Test SiteToo many times I've seen people in live chat or a blog post on the WA dashboard feed detailing the horrible issues they've had with their sites and the steps they had to take to get it all fixed just because they moved to a new theme or installed plugin X. Many of these issues could have been avoided altogether simply by utilizing a test site.As a free Starter member, you are given 2 sites. Assuming you're only using 1 as you

First Bit of News... I've Been Accepted to the WA Super Affiliate Challenge!I held off on posting anything because, as you all know by now, I'm not the only one to have been accepted and I didn't want to get lost in the flood of acceptance posts. What can I say? Yes, I'm excited. I'm also humbled. Why? Because this is no joke. The first month's task list is daunting and Kyle was right to ask people how much time they had to dedicate to this challenge. You literally have to hit the ground

Fix That Annoying Apostrophy Error in Live ChatOK, for the longest time I've noticed that, when I'm typing in Live Chat, my apostrophes would change to random characters every now and then. It was driving me nuts.I took to the web and utilized my Google-foo in an effort to find the solution. It took a while but I finally found what I was looking for.The fix is easy. Simply launch your Settings app and navigate to General > Keyboard. Disable the Smart Punctuation option. That's it! All fi

It's Been a Year Already!I was surprised to log in today and see the 1-year badge notification on my screen. I knew it was getting close but I didn't think it was here.I tend to pop on randomly and help out where I can. When I see people asking questions that I can help with, I'll engage them and even create trainings and blog posts for others to take advantage of. This has helped me to hit Ambassador status pretty quickly.I've learned a lot through the trainings here, and even more from the

There's a new SEO tool you might want to take a look at...I've been using the All in One SEO plugin since I started here at WA. It was the one suggested during training and just seemed to work for my needs. I love it and it's been good to me. That said, I decided to take a look at a relatively new SEO plugin and I have to say, I'm liking what I see.If you have some time to kill, check out the Rank Math SEO plugin. It has some cool features I find very interesting.Rank Math offers stats and

Hints and Tips for a More Successful SiteThis is going to be short and to the point...We all know "Content is King". More specifically, quality content. This is stressed throughout the training and should be engrained into your being by now. What's not stressed nearly as much, yet is just as important, is consistency. I mean this in a couple of ways:1) Try to post on a regular schedule. I constantly see questions posted, both in Live Chat and on the WA dashboard, asking how often or if it's

Damn, I lost my Ambassador status...One of my goals last year was to hit Ambassador status by the end of the year. I came close, but didn't actually obtain it until January 8th, 2019. I managed to hold onto it 2 months and 2 days before losing the status today. I have to admit, I'm a little sad that I couldn't hold onto it longer.Although I love being an ambassador, I find dedicating my time to holding that position is detrimental to my own sites. I love to help and will continue to do so b

It Pays to DiversifyA while back, I heard about Amazon’s OneLink. For those of you who don’t know what that is, OneLink is a bit of code you can toss onto your site that will take your visitors to the Amazon site for their region and, hopefully, the same product, or the closest one to it, to what you had placed for your affiliate link. For example; say I put a link up to a DJI Mavic 2 Pro drone on the US Amazon site but my visitor is from the UK. OneLink would redirect my visitor

I'm So Close!I joined back in late March of last year (2018). At the time, I had no intention of promoting WA. I was simply looking to build an online business and supplement my income, hoping to eventually replace it.I was simply shocked at all that the Wealthy Affiliate platform had to offer. My site is doing well and I'm actually enjoying working on it. Hell, I even find myself helping many others here at WA.Guess what all that has led to? Hint, it's in my title. That's right, I'm work

Surprise Surprise, You've Got Cash! So, I've been creating a few traings here at WA. Nothing big, mostly about using email accounts here and a few on how to add social follow buttons or using anchors in posts, etc. I just figured I was helping others who might be stuck on something.Imagine my surprise when I received not one, but two back-to-back messages from Wealthy Affiliate congratulating me and letting me know that my pending training cash credits have been approved. Here's one of the me
