Progress Update
So It's been 3 months and I wanted to share the progress I've made.
I'm just now starting my Level 5 training. I see the potential and I'm already getting a following (or at least some people that actually value my opinion).
Here are my Amazon numbers since I started with comments as appropriate:
March: 19 clicks, 2 items ordered, earnings: $3.48 - This is skewed as I signed up in March and my first clicks were on the 28th (I think that's about when I started putting in the affiliate links).
April: 64 clicks, 0 items ordered, earnings: $0.00 - This is also skewed as I went on a 2 week vacation and didnt' post for almost 4 weeks.
May: 45 clicks, 4 items ordered, earnings: $1.68. - More clicks so those are going in the right direction.
June through th 11th (since I'm writing this on the 12th): 31 clicks, 14 items ordered, earnings: $60.47 but not everything ordered has shipped yet so more to come. Finally seeing some growth.
My niche is drones and most of my sales are for drone accessories (1 actually was for a drone purchase), and as such have pretty low price points. That said more people are trusting my opinions and asking for advice so I expect this to grow.
I am focusing on posting and am trying to do a minimum of 1 per week but shooting for 2. I've found that hanging out in the forums and in related social media groups is a great place to find inspiration for my next post. So many people ask questions...why not write a post to answer it. To that extent I'm also answering questions in the groups and pasting links to my relevant posts (not advertising - although there are links in those posts but posts about the subject).
This seems to be working pretty well. My only issue now is I have no interaction happening in the posts themselves...No one is leaving comments and I need to figure out a way to change that to show more engagement on my site.

Actually it flattened out for me toward the second half. It ended up just over $100 in affiliate sales. All this time my average session duration was only 1 minute and 20 seconds and my bounce rate was 79.58%. I just made changes yesterday to address these numbers and am already seeing better results less than 24 hours later. Take that with a grain of salt as that’s too small a window to really guage the effects of the changes made.
My more recent posts are strictly informational/tutorial in nature so no affiliate links to sell stuff. I’m focusing on the authority aspect more before looking like a selling site, etc.
I’ll let you know what my results are at the end of the month.
Thank you for a great post and I too am having the same problem with people coming to my site and ordering something anything but nothing. I am trying to be very patient because I know it takes time but still, I am working on that site as well as my other site. Great progress and thank you for sharing that too,

Sounds like you are doing what you can to engage with your target audience. Pretty good for your first month.
The best outcome is the increase in your traffic. That will grow exponentially overtime.
