Twelve Places To Find Great Photo's For Your Website & Instructions Too!
Pictures, large, dramatic, beautiful pictures are so important to our websites. How plain our sites would look without them. They would look, unfinished.
They can also help keep our readers on our sites longer. Which as you all know helps with our rankings.
So, when I received this email in my inbox this morning, I knew I would want to share these with my WA friends.
Some of the sites, you will have heard of and some may be new to you. There is also and maybe most importantly, great advice on how to be sure that you will not be violating any rules regarding downloaded photo's.
The list and explanations of what they mean and what you can and can not do with them is invaluable. Everything from, Public Domains, Royalty Free, Rights Managed and more.

Great info thanks, but just a note on Google Images which the article advises to avoid.
When in Google Images, go to Advanced Image Search where you can set a Usage Rights filter.
I choose "free to use, share or modify, even commercially" which gets around the legality issue of using any images.
While the selection may be reduced after filtering, the sheer size of Google Images ensures you still get a good selection for possible use.
