When The Going Gets Tough
I’m fairly certain that everyone here at Wealthy Affiliate knows the second part of this saying but here it is anyway.
When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going
Wealthy Affiliate, the training and the community have enabled me to put this into action this month.
I lost a week through having a really bad dose of the flu. Anyone who has experienced this knows that it is really debilitating. I actually don’t think I have ever suffered it before. Really bad colds that I called the flu, yes.... Real flu no.
Anyway the point of this post is that because I lost this time, I had to dig deep and still come up with the goods, especially in the SWAG Challenge.
I am proud that I achieved the 12 Posts, one that reached the 3000 word mark. My first of this length. All of my promotion was done, all posts have been indexed and I wrote over 23,000 words. 3 comments on each. I didn’t get to leave 6 comments every day. I worked out that it was 192 comments ... I managed 58. Not great but 6 took me an hour to do. Time was limited.
No graph or comparison chart but they were not needed in my posts. I have it in my plan for next month on at least 2 of my Posts.
The message here is that when your back is against the wall you do have to dig deep and come up with the goods. It is my business and sometimes you need to lose a little sleep to get the job done.
When The Going Gets Tough, The Tough Get Going.
Be Tough, Honour your businesses. I’m a ditzy 53 year old who knew nothing about Affiliate Marketing and a total technophobe until last August.
If I can get Tough, so can you.
With Grace and Gratitude
Karen

Thank you Steven. Still need to get that guest post done. Obviously you know why it didn’t happen last month.
I don't know you well, Karen but from your posts that I have read, the word "ditzy" would never enter my mind!
I actually just wrote something similar today about handling the hurdles that come your way. I turned 50 last year, so it becomes easier to just quit than when I was in my 20s or 30s.
But when those thoughts make an appearance, they don't linger too long because I know quitting really is not an option for me.
Glad to hear that you're making a recovery, Karen.
Quitting is never an option but trust me ditzy is something I can do in spectacular style quite often. I clearly hide it well... lol
That's hilarious, Karen!
Well, I guess if you're going to do something, it might as well be in a "spectacular style"!
Congrats on your posts that is a lot of words. I am sorry that you have sick I hope that you are feeling better though. Anyway, best wishes on your journey with WA.
Thank you and yes I was so chuffed with the 3000 words though I had no idea it would be that long when I started it.
You are so welcome once we get rolling we don't know when to stop and in a way that is a good thing. Because that is how I am once I get going I don't know when to stop.
Thanks for this msg encouraging for me ...esp the last part on age knowing nothing about Affiliate Marketing and technophobe! just where i am now but surely this will change tanx again inspired to go forward.blessings
All of this totally true of me when I started out less than 9 months ago. Go for it and enjoy the learning process.
