This Past Week As Life Moves Along

Hi everyone,
I'm still doing a lot of self reflection as I mentioned in my last post.
Jessie "Boss Lee" Ward died on Sept 16th. I did not know anything about her until 2 days after her death at age 35 until I watched Ed Mylett discussing his grief about it.
She was a powerhouse of an entrepreneur and a self made millionaire. I'm very impressed with what she was able to accomplish in her life.
She didn't learn she had cancer until it was already Stage 4. She had surgery to remove part of her colon right away.
She decided against chemotherapy and chose to pursue a holistic approach. I believe she has received unjust negative criticism about that and under the circumstances I would have made the same choice.
The doctors told her she could live another 2-3 years with chemo, but it would not cure her. In other words she was still going to die.
She didn't want to be sick from chemo just to extend her life and not have a quality life so she decided to attack it head on holistically and they were documenting her progress.
She was certainly able to do many things before she died including continuing to run her businesses.
She gained from the experience wisdom and reconciled with her mother before her death.
So I have been re-examining my life. What's important, what' not.
What to add to my list of things to do before I die. The list is a lot longer now. hehe
What to avoid. What should no longer be important.
Time is the most priceless gift we have. What am I going to do with the time I have left?
Yes, I will continue building my businesses and I will continue to 10X - 100X them year after year.
But I will also 10X my time with my family & friends.
I'm thinking hard about what I want to leave behind as part of my legacy and I will work on that also.
I was out today and it was strange. The world looked different to me. It was like I was just a neutral observer. Things did not feel the same.
I've actually done very little real work on my businesses during this time. I do have a team working on monetizing my 2nd Youtube channel and its progressing well.
So that's what's been happening here in my life this past week.
I hope to get back to work very soon.
To Our Success!

Thank you, Mel,
Everyone has to make that choice if Cancer hits us, we should never judge another person's decision.
Right now I have been thinking about if I got cancer what I would do, and I am not sure if I would go for chemo or not at this time
You have brought up a good point, Mel
We all should really think about what is the most important to us and make that our priority, you never know what tomorrow might bring.

As you know, I too had colorectal cancer, stage 4. I am lucky to survive it.
I had conventional treatment as well as alternative treatment. Both complementary. Plus, I did positive thinking and affirmations. I believe, together, they helped me heal.
It is good you are reexamining your life, and making wiser decisions. Before cancer, I thought I was doing things correctly and wisely. It took cancer to highlight a part of my life that was not working.

Hi Mel
I think spending more time with your family and friends is a great idea!
It has always been one of my top priorities in life.
Iโm very content to live a comfortable but non-extravagant lifestyle, enjoying all the simple pleasures that life has to offer.
Above and beyond that, I have no real reverence for riches.
Balance in all things is key!๐

I understand Frank. For starters it cost $450,000 to fly into space. That's on my list. :-) Thanks for sharing!
Mel
Indeed it would be Frank. :-) I'm a Trekkie from the very beginning and Space has always fascinated me.

Yeah, I remember watching the very first episode, (โThe Cage,โ) of the original Star Trek series, in the early 1960s! ๐

It's very sad that another successful person is gone way too soon. I hope we can all be on the look out for one another.

I am actually going through the cancer thing with my mom and uncle right now. Both were diagnosed 1 and 2 weeks ago. Mom has liver and lung cancer. She neither smoked or drank. Uncle has skin and prostate cancer. Unfortunately the diagnoses are still in early stages and they are waiting for the results so they can choose treatment. I am really freaking out as they are my last family members. It really does make you want to reevaluate everything so that I understand.
Sorry to hear that Brianna.
Something I always did with my mom and my family was if necessary to get at least a 2nd opinion about everything. Doctors are not God and they sadly do make mistakes. So try to think it through as to what is best in their cases.
Mel
Yes, I will and thank you.
I also wanted to say thank you for your help and guidance on this platform. I have seen some posts where people were extremally rude to you and that was not deserved. I am glad you don't listen to the haters!!! You are a gem!
Thank you most kindly! There was a recent one where I had to bite my lip. ;-)
Everyone is in their own "world" and "reality" and that's how they see everything through that filter.
I'm guilty of that as well sometimes, maybe not here but in the physical world.
