Success in 2021 - Day 19 Escaping the 9 to 5

Welcome to Day 19 everyone!
My cover photo was created using Canva which is free to use online. I made one for every day in January. It was super fast to just change the date, download and then repeat. Big time saver. I might use the same image for the whole year or I might use a different image for each month. What are your thoughts on that?
I was able to buy a Gaming Headset and the Mic works great now for my Youtube videos. My sound before wasn't the best so I am happy that I was able to improve upon it and I'm sure some day, I'll have a professional Mic and Video camera as well. Step by step, I keep improving and that's all you have to do as well. Don't wait for perfection. Take action now.
Some of you may be looking to make some extra income.
Some of you might be looking to leave your 9 to 5 and work from home or anywhere you like.
I was given an opportunity to hire trained VA's (Virtual Assistants) for only $1.66 an hour or $13.28 for an 8 hour day.
Obviously these VA's are from poorer countries, Philippines and India top the list.
I REJECTED the offer!
I left the 9 to 5 over 6 years ago.
This is an issue I didn't like when many American companies started moving their factories overseas for the cheap labor.
Its one thing to move your business overseas if you are actually improving the lifestyle of those employees. Its another to pay them less than a living wage and pollute their environment all in the name of Profit and that generally is the case.
A Filipino earning $13.28 or P600 a day is doing better than many workers who could be working 12 hours a day earning only P200 or $4 a day, but it is still not a living wage here.
And of course if that is what I am paying you know the VA is getting paid LESS by the company as they are earning from this as well.
The few times I have hired out, I have generally paid more that what the project/work was requiring for payment. If they are doing a great job, they deserve it.
I didn't break away from the 9 to 5 to keep other people stuck in the 9 to 5.
This year I created a private fb group where I am working to help those financially challenged to improve their income and become financially free.
It's a lot of work to do. But it will also help me build my brand and create more content and lift others up at the same time.
You know I am excited about what I will achieve in 2021. I am even more excited about 2022!
The foundation for my businesses scaling is being laid out in the early months of 2021. That's when the real work being done getting setup with Facebook groups/pages, my Youtube channel, TikTok eventually and my continued blogging and course creation.
Alrighty, time to get on with my next project...

I must say, I will be that Filipino soon, hopefully, may be earning more though. If I do hire a VA, I hope to be able to earn enough to always pay extra, it sure spreads the love and respect the work these guys will do in my stead
Two, I’m glad you refused to pay your VA’s starvation pays. I had a similar experience when I relocated home to take up an international appointment. I realized officials were underpaying their drivers. I refused to participate in the deprivation.
To your next success my friend!
