As someone who is interested in utilizing all the free tools online that I can, I am always on the lookout for marketing on facebook tips and tricks. Over the years, I have used facebook in the right ways and in the wrong ways.

One of the wrong ways that I used facebook was with a tool called post planner. I pretty much spammed all of my friends regarding some network marketing opportunity. It was awful. I think that lasted for a day or two before one person told me that he thought I was hacked! LOL! I immediately quit using post planner and stopped promoting that online business that I wasn't crazy about anyway.

Lately, after joining Wealthy Affiliate, I started to use Facebook the right way for internet and affiliate marketing! I began to engage people and stop stressing about whether or not they bought the product. I spent time in groups that were full of people in my target audience.

• Join groups that are targeted to your niche! The people most interested in your website are going to be in other groups that are related to your niche!
• Participate in these groups. Comment on other posts and be helpful!
• Get to know a few other people in groups
• Comment on other's posts - you want them to comment and read yours!
• Create your own group and your own group's rules
• Mind the rules of the group. Do not spam your affiliate link in the group if the admins don't allow it.

Internet marketing on a budget can be done with the help of social media, but only if you are using social media correctly. You should definitely be taking advantage of facebook groups and connecting with other people, but make sure that you are doing it in a meaningful way! You want to be providing value to these groups. People will reciprocate and mirror your actions. If you are just posting an link and not looking at other people's links, they are likely to do the same to you!
