Are we allowed to use some of the comments/replies on our website? I am in the middle of creating a content about Wealthy Affiliate for my website - like copy and paste includin

WA believes in original @RICH has already clarified.

No, the copying and pasting of content to or from WA is strictly prohibited.
https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/wealthy-affiliate-the-open-education-project/spam-is-a-no-no Rich.

but we are alllowed to share training from the affiliate links aren't we, it's in the getting started training, sorry feeling confused now

Yes, because you're not copying and pasting, creating duplicate content and breaching the individual's and WA's copyright, you're simply sending them here to read it. :) Rich.

thank you :)

Thanks much, Rich!

Interesting idea!

We got our answer though..it's a no..no...lol..

Good Idea, but I would ask Kyle or Carson. I don't see anything wrong with using a reply or comment from WA as it will promote WA.

Thanks, Bill! It's real comments inside the community and what goes on here. :-)

every page has an affiliate link where youcan share content and comments, Kyle actually says you should share content regularly, if people join from the link you get paid :)

Thanks for the comment, Sharon. I am not particularly looking to share the whole link. I just want to use a targeted reply/comment.

I do believe you can! It's not a content! It's a comment from your site...

Hi Nenita - I was referring to your reply/comment like this one. I want to copy and paste it to go integrate it with my content/blog.

Oh I see, I think the best thing is get a screen shot of the comments and put it on your site.

That's what I was asking...lol...Are we allowed to do that or would need to disclose it to the members?

Why not just ask the members to give you a comment on your site, instead of copying it from here.

That is not my goal. I want to capture what really is going on inside our community.

Then a screen shot like I mentioned before is what you need:)

I think you can, Comments are displayed on the website anyways...........Amazon displays the best product reviews at the bottom of the page

Thanks, John.

I'm not sure if it's allowed or not. But first of all if it's allowed I would ask the person concerned for permission. An alternative way (much better I think) is to ask specific people if they are willing to write a testimonial on your site.

Thanks for the comment, Jan. Good idea. I was thinking of doing a blog and ask people for help and give disclosure as to what I am planning to do. I want it to be as natural as possible. Thanks.

Hi. Just a quick question. Regarding the all in one SEO plug in - does it help to complete all the pertinent information below the post or page (like the title, discussion and k

I always recommend that you leave the All-In-One SEO fields blank on a page and post basis, as does Kyle and Carson. If you listen to Kyle's voiceover around 6:50 in this video https://my.wealthyaffiliate.com/training/getting-your-website-seo-ready you'll hear him say: "... and we only have to update the home page title and description fields, all the other posts and pages are going to be taken care of that we create, because this tool (All-in-One SEO) actually automates the rest of the pages that you create, it will create the title, keyword and description for you automatically, we only have to do this once and then we're never going to have to revisit this tool again...". The fields are occasionally useful, for example if you had a page or post that simple had a video or image on it then by all means write a description as there's no text for a search engine to create the most relevant summary from to display in the search results. I've never filled these fields in on a page and post basis myself and it's certainly never done me any harm! :) Rich.

Thank you so much, Rich! Where do you see all those links for those courses? I tried to look for some of them but maybe I just missed them. Appreciate your quick response.

Hi Mel - click on the Green Get Started Here button on the left hand side. You'll see all the courses listed there.

All the best, Mark

Thanks. Funny. I figured it out. I am so sorry - duh!!! It's all up in the classroom top on the very top left side...hehehehe...sorry about that guys. Thank you for the help.

Hi Mel - you only know if you know - if you don't, then ask. There's an awful lot of very helpful people here.

Also, use the search bar above if you're looking for a quick answer - it's like WAs own version of Google.

I think we should call "WAggle" :)

All the best, Mark

I like Waggle! Sounds good to me. Thanks, Mark!

Hi guys! Good Morning to all! Am I able to forward my affiliate link to an old domain I have?

You should be able to. You just have to login to your account at the domain registrar that you registered your domain with (godaddy, namecheap, etc.).

From their you need to access your domain and look for an option called "Forwarding". After you've done this, you just put in your affiliate link and save it. It may take some time for it to update.

Why do you want to forward it through an old domain?

I have a dormant domain name that I don't use anymore that can be helpful in this business. I am thinking of using it for a business card to give to people. Thanks for your help.
