I have seen for several hours now. I am talking about our Top 10 of the day. The arragement is topsy-turvy. Anyone knows why?
I know Kyle, Carson, and Jay is always top 3 only. The rest keep changing. To me, it is meaningless to go the top 100, with my website still struggling. That is my view only.

Amazon's Covid-19 Excuse
I do believe that Amazon is using the Covid-19 upheaval as an opportunity to push grocery and other sales from large established businesses. That way Amazon can slowly get rid of individual affiliates. I'm pretty sure they know that they will lose thousands of individual affiliates and that could be their intention.
Reason for Amazon's Move
It could be an attempt to cut down on the amount of refunds and returns. These not just from normal shoppers but from those taking advantage of the system. Amazon can ban a customer "returning the wrong item or making frequent returns" but the publicity is ugly.
In year 2018 Amazon banned a computer programming customer but backtracked and lifted the ban. Their hands are tied. They cannot be advertising easy returns and simultaneously banning customers.
Solution for Amazon, Bad for Some Affiliates
Since low barrier to entry means anyone can sell on Amazon, as a customer I have experienced that quality control on Amazon is an issue. Expanding into the grocery business where they would most likely deal with businesses and less individual merchants seems like a solution.
Amazon ultimately may lose little as the product quality may improve and customers like me don't have to spend an unreasonably amount of time researching their listings/merchants before purchasing a product.
Affiliates . . . well . . . as Apple would say, they get promoted to customers.

I have been diversifying too. I have not made a cent from Amazon but I still buy from them. The online shopping is convenient. Yes, it looked like a different world we are in! And better take your shot here than in Lottery. The ration of winning is next to impossible. Luck is not something we depend on our life to. We depend on our hard work and perseverance in something like WA, here it is up to us to make it happen.
Actually in this crisis, Amazon deliveries are ridiculously long & many of my 'facemask' clients have complained. Also they unilaterally closed my a/c even though I made 5 sales (3 is their threshold criteria). NOT a happy camper.
I was going to order some products from Amazon. But instead of the one week delivery time, they were going to be delivered in two months. I got the products from locals.
Having back orders for over two months this might disgust customers. So why keep accepting orders if you can't process them promptly? Angry customers.
Many companies had a lot of problems for this reason during black Fridays and Christmas season. People want instant satisfaction. If you can't do it, you will lose.
That means, that at present Amazon doesn't need the millions of orders that its affiliates would be sending/generating for them. They won't be able to comply.
What could they do? Not shutting down affiliate program, but lowering commissions so that affiliates won't send so many orders.
They can't supply the demand, then reduce the demand. They want to keep customer loyalty.
Hopefully, after this pandemic, Amazon will return to the normal commissions. Once they can fulfill orders on a timely manner, as what customers expect.
Of course, this is an excellent experience to be prepared for any event with diversification.

Cause other then Etsy, I really need a general store also, because I talk about other stuff then just craftwork, also about crafting materials, so I really need something like Amazon :-(

- engagement doesn't only refer to the number of comments/likes, but also to the number of views & "starred" saves too.
Strive for high quality & highly engaging posts & you'll get your posts in there.
(also just to add - controversial/irrelevant posts are much less likely to feature)

What we need is not guesswork, we need guidelines from the platform for fairness and objectivity so as also to improve more where we lack. Writing is not easy if you are not inspired. This for sure does not generate inspiration for me and I believe for everyone. Though I would always continue to write because it's part of me and I need to because I have already decided to do so.

I've been swimming 6 kilometers a week at LA Fitness; on my way to the locker room at 5AM, I would pass a whole bunch of workout warriors using all kinds of exercise machines & contraptions. However...
Now that pretty much every sports club in the US and I imagine many other countries has shut down operations instead of swimming, I run about 10K a week, but all those gym workout warriors who can afford it will most likely be looking to purchase various pieces of high-ticket exercise equipment like stationary bikes, treadmills, free weights, etc online cuz I imagine the retailers of that sort of stuff have already pretty much sold out.
Just a hunch which I think is worth running with!

If your mind thinks about the worldwide Coronavirus, I will say the opportunity online:
- Order + shipping online almost everything
- Buy low -> resell if could -> the focused items are paper towel, hand sanitizer, masks-> as you can see, they are 3 essential things to keep people working at some exceptional companies such as Amazon.
- The biggest opportunity is our WA (Wealthy Affiliate - not the Washington State of the USA). A lot of people in the USA and in the world are staying home because of the coronavirus-> they would lose income when they need to stay home and can't do anything. -> Building an online business is one of many solutions can help their situations.
I like your reasoning, however must paper products are made in China, so during this time, nothing is being shipped out from there and if it is, it will take weeks before your customer will ever see their products. For instance, I purchased toilet paper from Amazon last week. The seller is in China. The shipment isn't due to be delivered until late April. Now what good does that do me, when I need the product now. You will not get any thing shipped in US from any other country at this time.
It may be easier in other countries to get shipments, but not in the US.
Creating an online business during this time is a great idea if you plan to sell your own items or you become an affiliate for a company that pays you to refer customers to them, such as Wealthy Affiliate, Jaaxy, Word Press, Fiverr, etc.
I think right now if you can make commissions from referrals, that's the way to go.

For the paper products -> I have been ordering the paper towel for the bathroom as the wholesale price-> one cartoon with 96 pieces -> it lasts near 3 months. (btw, I am living near the SeaTac airport)
it doesn't matter if you buy from the wholesale supplier or not. It still has to be shipped from the manufacturer of the paper and that is China.
I ordered a product from a company in Canada back in January. The company's distributor is in Korea, so my order has been sitting in Korea since January and hasn't moved.
Of course I do, but I didn't know in January when I ordered the product that it would be coming from Korea. I learned that after the fact.
Ok, You gave me insight. Next time, I should ask some checklist question like where it is coming from, is there any warranty or could I just return when not satisfied? Thanks. Have a blessed day.
Candidly, I am still processing all of this - but in my humble opinion, and based upon what my agency has observed (analytically), Americans as a whole are yet to embrace many of these changes.

You have likely heard this before - think about this from the perspective of a consumer. So, I will tell you who I was on the phone with last week: Gun Stores. As that is not news to anyone or shouldn't be that permits went up 300% last week across the US, well those Gun Stores want to be found. The gun manufacturers want to sell more weapons, and a solid Every Day Carry Post - Weapon Free, can get hundreds of thousands of uniques!
I will say that an instagram account based with content on weapons alone has soared in followers recently. Thanks China?
