Amazon SiteStripe option was supposed to be no longer available from December 1. Mine is still working and even better than before. The pictures are bigger!
I think Amazon is having some problems rolling out the changes. But we have to take them at their word that the Image and Text+Image will fail after December 31.
I just checked and Image and Text+Image are still there for individual products, but have disappeared at other times. Perhaps there's some disagreement within Amazon that we are unaware of.

It makes no sense at all. You could be using Image and Text+Image one day, only to have it fail the next. With the original plan, at least users had 1 month to realize what was happening.
Yes mine still work but the image and text+ image will no longer work after Dec 31 they will become broken links. Amazon is taking them down and only the text part of sidestripe will work.
So not much use in using the links now best to start changing to text only or if you have recent sales and get yourself the PAAPI with them.

ChatGPT is becoming extremely popular lately, and I must say that I love this tool. It helps me a lot with my business.
Microsoft has already implemented it in Bing, and Google has their own GPT. I don't think it will replace it; it will improve things.

Either way, AI will reshape the way people in this world exist.
I personally believe that it has the potential to evolve into much more than a tool.
Programmers tend to see it as just code, and rightly so, but I believe that over the coming decades it will evolve into its own entity and redefine our definition of life.
AI and robotics are advancing at a geometric rate. Put them together and things could eventually get really interesting. 😎

I am seeing a terrific amount of posts on Wealthy Affiliate regarding artificial intelligence. I have also written a couple of posts about the subject.
I don't think it will take over from Google, personally; however, I have been wrong before.
I do think that extreme care needs to be taken when using AI. Personally, I'm not particularly struck by AI, but it seems like the majority of people love it. In my experience, it has given some seriously bad answers and sometimes it just doesn't work at all!
I also see that some members here are using AI to write their blog posts, I don't believe this will end well. I'm also seeing replies to blog posts with AI which spits out a load of garbage!
I really believe that extreme care needs to be taken when we use AI tools. If it's used with great care, I'm sure it can be helpful. However, if you know your niche well, then I would probably say that you don't need AI anyway!
Just a few thoughts.

I do understand that the technology is very new and if it was anything else, I would say that it would improve. However, I cannot see people respecting the AI software, so we will gradually be getting watered-down content, along with a lot of misuse.
I really hope that I am wrong as I can see the potential if we lived in a perfect world; the problem is that we don't!

Still, I've got 2 entries on page 2 for "super affiliate challenge" (68 and a half million results).

In my humble opinion, it is not likely that ChatGPT will
replace Google. OpenAI is not designed to act as a search engine. It functions well as a question-answering chatbot and personal assistant for a variety of tasks.
I find it excellent for doing research, for making outlines, headings, documents (taxes) and it will give you chart comparisons with the right prompts. It has totally different algorithms than Google,
In fact, Google is head and shoulders above other search engines in terms of its analytics. Plus, ChatGPT lacks a real, human personality.
However, it is the next best thing for content creators. It can summarize and save you a lot of extraneous blog time. Plus, ChatGPT is designed specifically for handling complex conversational and understanding and natural language inputs (Moz.com).

Teachers, accountants, researchers are among the most vulnerable. However, they apply for the new AI jobs that are opening up.
Fortunately, a lot of people are multitaskers and have other professions to fall back on. I never new why so many students had dual majors. Now I know why.
The human species will continue to evolve. This is the nature of the humanity. However, I see a humongous need for schools for AI training.
But, I feel that in the future, AI, OpenAI, ChatGPT, will be as common as TV and radio. Just a matter of time.
This is why I am here at Wealthy Affiliate. They have introduced us to AI and are training us how to use it in our blog posts/. How cool is that.
I am kind of glad that I changed my major from MBA to MFT. This stands for marriage and family therapists. Our jobs will still be around for a while hopefully.

Yes, you can edit All except changing the URL, if the URL changes to Google it is a new post, and any ranking that has been done would be lost.
However, I would consider good internal linking vs updating if it is bringing great traffic Better Internal Links in Wordpress

I update my high ranking content all the time by adding more RELEVANT content that enhances the post.
Jay did a class a few years ago saying the same thing. Always add content that will make the post better.
Adding ranking keywords you find in Google Search Console for that post can also be beneficial, if worded well.

i would update others that are not performing as well first....
by updating you may lose that first place and any associated traffic...
make sure you are ranking for keywords that are bringing in trafffic and people are searching for by using your search console account...
updating will change your position in the serps and you may recover...

Firstly, well done.
It's always nice to get recognition from a "big player" in your niche.
It shows that you are obviously doing something right.
To be honest, there's a few different schools of thought around this, and in truth most people actually go about it the other way.
The following is just my take on it.
I'll give you an example that I have used on one of my sites:
I'd written a "How To" article and through carrying out research I found one article of particular interest that also included videos by the site owner on "How To" do the actual thing.
His content was a little different from mine, and approached the subject matter from another perspective.
The videos were uploaded to YouTube so I knew I could embed them within my own article,
So, I updated my original "How To" post with a new section, embedded the YouTube video and linked out to the original post.
I then left a well thought out and in-depth comment on the other article that contained the video.
I then found the website's "Contact Me" details and emailed the site owner/author.
I explained that I had written a similar article, and that I loved their video.
I asked if it was okay to embed the video within my content and then link to their article, which offered a slightly different perspective to mine.
And of course I provided them a link to my article.
The website owner replied within 24 hours, said he loved the idea, really appreciated my feedback, and was really impressed with the way I had approached my article.
He too linked back to my article and tweeted my article link on Twitter.
This person owned a website with a Domain Authority of 84 and had a Twitter following of around 89,000 people.
Suffice to say, little old me was very happy, LOL.
In my mind, every single thing we do online is about building relationships.
This is not only about building relationships with your potential customers, but also your peers, and the leaders in your niche.
You won't always have an experience like I have mentioned here.
I have sent emails, left comments, interacted with others, and been completely ignored.
However, as I discovered, even one great experience, such as above, out of 100 attempts is worth it's weight in gold.
Above all, it's about being GENUINE.
Go into trying to build relationships being a good, honest, and interesting person.
Never look at it from a monetary perspective - which I'm sure you won't anyway.
My suggestion would be to spend a some time on the website in question.
If they allow for comments, read a few articles related to your niche.
Leave some really well-thought out and detailed comments.
Then simply find their contact details and email them.
Explain that you love their website and have spent some time looking around and really enjoyed some of their articles.
Name those articles in your email, and even explain what it was that you really liked (It doesn't matter who you are, WE ALL LOVE A COMPLIMENT, LOL).
Then simply thank them for linking to your site (just explain what the article was about, no need to give them a link). Also say that you found some of their content really valuable and relevant to your own, and would it be okay for you to link back to their website.
You may receive a wonderfully appreciative response, you may get completely ignored.
However, you have attempted to build a relationship, which is basically what blogging, online marketing, social media, being a genuinely good person is all about.
